That stack of amps... Their ears must've been bleeding in that studio hall! Love the chaos and excess of the Be Here Now era. How rock n roll should be.

Great footage of Alan White there, enjoying himself whilst smashing it on point. (And Noely G's very shortlived 'little hat' period too. Remember when he tried experimenting with a beard?!) Those were fuckin great times - this was cool as - thanks for uploading.

This version makes me wish Noel had continued with the "rethink" of the album. This is a vast improvement on the album version. 1. No overdubs, just the 5 of them playing in a room. That little bit of space, while not a lot, helps the song so much. Clean. 2. BASS. I don't mean Guigsy, but there's a low end to this and It's Getting Better Man from the same session that's missing from the album. Be Here Now, at points becomes almost white noise, and not in a good Jesus and Mary Chain-esque way. Just a mess. 3. Shorter. The entire last verse and outro are cut out of this one, and it's better for being a 3-minute banger. No bloat here. I just feel like this "fixes" things for me.
Remember watch this on Bbc day b4 Be here now came out..... they had the 🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍 at there feet bk then.....

I remember watching this as a kid when it was first on tv back in the 90s. I was super stoked to hear new Oasis material and my overwhelming reaction was “meh”.

No shame involved. It was cool to have horrible, waxy skin - highly desirable back then. It was the 'Cocaine, Alcohol & Nicotine Intention' look. It predated the 'Smack Chic' look by a good 5 years..
