Hey! I tried to follow this guide to make an oasis and i tried several times, making a medium sized water hole with palm trees but it never turns into an oasis, the plants that an oasis have never grow and I never seem to find any. Do you know how to find them efficiently? If so please let me know, i need to do some grinding for oasis crates.

If you've got a large enough pool of water in the Desert biome it should make an Oasis. I don't know why your water hole wouldn't work unless it's too small. Try making it bigger, and you'll know it's an Oasis biome when the plants grow, but the Palm trees aren't required.
