Funnily enough, this was Oasis' biggest gig, in terms of sheer attendance, in America, if memory serves.... I wanna say there was over 21,000 ppl at this gig, making it a bigger gig than either of their record-breaking Earl's Court gigs! But, in contrast, check out MSG 2005! Sold out, nearly 18,000 ppl, & the crowd are literally singing so damned loudly that you can barely hear Liam or Noel! Crazy different in their energies, Boston vs NYC.

In defence of American Fans first off I am Canadian and live near Toronto. We drove to Cuyahuga Falls ? Ohio to see OASIS live! They played at a outdoor Pravillion with Kasabian as the opening act. The crowd was into it and near the end of the show a guy got up on stage walked up and shook Liam's hand then another and another and another.........I have seen OASIS 18 times and this is the one and only time these ever happened that anyone got up on stage much less 12 people! Noel then signed a tour book and threw the pen back into the audience......

The start kicks like a mule, fuckin in the bushes followed by Turn Up The Sun. If you are not thumping your leg or headbanging you must be deaf. It gives me off that feeling I recall being on concerts when I was younger. Guitar sound reverbates out to the night sky, your skin crawls, this cute girl you got drunk with, hangs around your arm and you know this night is already amazing and it's only gonna get better. I’ve always found Americans buy tickets to gigs and go travelling in Europe in order to tick off boxes on their bucket list before they settle down . And they will talk about this gig for the rest of their lives at bbqs , and say it was this crazy night . Despite them standing there like stooges, stone cold sober , in front of the best band in the world . What the funk .

To the outside world of the United States, our indoor AND outdoor venues/stadiums all have nice permanent comfy chairs to enjoy all different kinds of concerts including orchestras. This is the reason for the crowds less hype than Euro crowds. Now, we do have many open arenas that our crowds will rock with the best of Wembley stadiums.

Liam's voice at Champagne Supernova was unexpectedly on point here, at least for 2004-2005 standard. Also, Cigs'n'Alc and RnR Star should've been replaced, or at least, pitched down, by that point. It seemed that at his best (for the 04-05 period), Kermit could still find a way into Liam's upmost range, and those two song at their original key really showed that.

Look at the waxworks in the audience... anyone who's ever been to an Oasis gig in the UK, can you imagine the sort of scenes at the front when they play Bring It On Down? The band must be so bored here. Compare this to the Etihad Manchester gig in the same year, they literally had to stop the gig during the first song because the crowd broke the front barrier.
