The Bass provides the incredibly necessary BOTTOM. You may think you can’t hear it or it’s boring but a good bassist knows what he needs to do and does it knowing he isn’t the center of attention. MACA often to the annoyance of the other BEATLES often treated it like a lead guitar. Listen to SOMETHING by GH. It ticked GH off but it was impressive. Listen to any classical greats and listen for the bottom. They’d be weak and shallow songs without it.👍

I personally think that if the bass lines had been more interesting and dynamic, oasis would have been much better in the quality of their songs. imagine the beatles without Paul's bass I mean, you still have an interesting song but something is missing...
