American here. My mom took a trip to London in 1996, when i was 1. While there she heard Oasis on the radio. She came back to the states and bought definitely maybe and WTSMG. That along with BHN and the masterplan the next few years were 100% the soundtrack to my childhood. Oasis is the only band I can never get enough of and it’s in my blood. Mad fer it. Thank you mom ❤️

I love it when when alot of songs in D-Major key have that off 'C' chord. I don't know if it's some Dorian or diminished or Schmorian key but it sounds so good. You can also hear that C Chord in 'Give a little bit' by supertramp. Love that sound.

I remember attending a U2 stadium concert in Oakland California in June 1997, and by luck of the scheduling, Oasis opened for U2 for those two Oakland shows. I remember that Oasis played "Some Might Say", playing to a half-full crowd that had not finished arriving for U2. I was astounded that only one other person besides me seemed to recognize the song, or even seemed to realize the enormous luck in seeing Oasis perform. I was very disappointed in my fellow U2 fans and fellow California concertgoers. I was totally digging "Some Might Say", having already devoured the WTSMG album.
