Anyone blasting for the Halifax advert - Noel didn’t give it to Halifax, he sold the publishing rights like a lot of legacy artist do now. So companies can use the music how they wish. The selling of publishing rights - money-chasing? Morally correct? That’s another debate. But Noel didn’t specifically say yea Halifax here you go. The rights were bought from Noel/Oasis/Creation and the buying company can do what they want with it. Still shit though. But for us olders this will always remind us of mid late 90s not some building society bollocks
