I've never even seen 결코 찾을 수 없네 The key to the door 세상을 이겨나갈 소중안 어떤것도 We only get what we will settle for 단지 불만스럽지만 받아들일 수밖에 없는 삶을 살아가고있단걸 While we're living 우리가 살아가는동안 The dreams we have as children 어린 시절 가졌던 꿈들이 Fade away 사라지네 They fade away, away, away 사라지네, 사라지네, 사라지네.... I was 24 when I heard this. It was on an NME tape - I was astonished at how Oasis could throwaway such a great track. But this was Oct 1994 and they'd just released Definitely Maybe. Whatever was around the corner and Some Might Say a few months off. The poetry and realism in Noel's lyrics spoke volumes to me, a 24 year old, out of uni, starting working as a barrister, earning peanuts but loving driving to court miles way listening to a tape of Oasis, Pulp, Blur and loads of the other stuff happening at the time. The truth in those words really scared me - "the dreams we have as children fade away". Now as a 50 year old and having seen all I have in the past 26 years, as someone 15 years away from retirement, Jesus, those words resonate. They always meant so much but now - it's great to see Liam back on form, long may it continue but guys, make 2021 when Oasis return!!
