12 years ago I was lying in a hospital bed in intensive care in a coma. At the time I never knew if I was alive or dead. My family spent 2 weeks by my bedside. In that time I got told I theoretically died 3 times and my family got told I had a 5% chance of surviving and in that I had a 90% chance of being brain dead..
