What is FIFO or LIFO and what should they be set for ?

FIFO is "First In, First Out", what is placed into inventory first is pulled first, this affects inventory valuation as the price of the inventory item changes. LIFO is "Last In, First Out", what is placed into inventory last is first pulled. As for which to use depends on how your company wants to evaluate inventory valuation.
