This song reflects what I am currently going through in my life to a fucking T. Preparing for what will be a very ugly divorce after 6 years of verbal and emotional abuse and reconnecting with someone very important to me, and we have both been through hell and found one another at the end. I understand everything she is saying and it hits home for me. "Tie your limbs to my crippled life/Hang on, I'll carry you around". Just that line alone cuts so deep I can feel it in the fabric of my soul.
