This album really grew on me. Definitely the album I've listened to the most since it came out. Caro well and truly kills it with her clean vocals, I absolutely love them. She's got the best guttural vocals in the business, and her clean vocals are perfect for the music they make. It's not the sound of a highly-trained singer but they sound like wails and whimpers of anguish, teetering on desperation. I guess that sounds like a negative but it's truly not, it works so well with Oathbreaker's style. I like how it's mixed too - the vocals often get drowned out by the instrumentals, sounds like they're struggling to stay afloat, drowning in calculated chaos. Packs an emotional punch that keeps me coming back again and again. I love drowning in Oathbreaker, and I'll be listening to this album until the day I'm snuffed.
