@@TarrenHassman IDK about the tower though. this isn't really a sac deck. the value you're gaining from sacing in this deck is ob nix's double token or the fling card. you kind of want your creatures to stay on the field otherwise. sacing to the tower for just 2 mana seems like you're losing value

The deck is better at producing black mana early since we're also running Freebooter. With an adjustment we could work in Witness Protection, it just won't have the benefit of easily ending up in the graveyard to enable Descend.

Sorry for being off-topic but did WotC fix their Arena client/servers lately? I remember the search function for cards to be suuuuper slow but now, after a almost half a year break, the cards show up immediately. I was totally dumbfounded and didn't realized first that the search was already done. Tried different searches and yepp, it's pretty fast now.

Hey Legenvd, have you considered putting the format of the decks you are highlighting in brackets? Only musing here, but it would help clarify exactly what to expect from the video! It's certainly not a request or demand, but I in particular only really play and concern myself with Historic Brawl. Your videos on standard decks are of course high quality too, but sometimes I look forward to your creativity in the brawl format and wish I could more conveniently access them from my bloated subscription page. Something like, "Ob Nixilis is very loyal. [Historic Brawl]", would be what I'm getting at. But if it isn't necessary or a shared opinion then keep up the good work however you want to!

you want as many permanents as possible in this deck, since they help grow a few of the creatures. instants and sorceries don't count towards any of that unfortunately

@@jasoninthehood9726 HB is a lot more flavorful and diverse, but some of the best include 7m Atraxa, 4m Atraxa superfriends, Rusko, Golos, Kinnan, etc. A common trend is cheap commanders are better and commanders that pay for themselves or do something as they enter are also better. Combo commanders aren't as good as just playing them doesn't do anything. However you'll find that there's a ton of people playing their own brews, not using meta decks or super competitive lists because commander is the perfect place for that. I love zur, chatterfang, and alela as commanders and they're not that great. I win probably over 50% tho cause they don't get matched with the high win rate commanders as much
