We are to care and respect for our eldest to our infants and all others in between; creating a place and time of all people going higher instead of lower. Love! Honor! Respect! Dignity! President Obama was America's best and greatest president. And the USA would have advanced as a nation further than ever, had it not been for the prejudiced leaders, sadly, many still operating in disrespect to poor and disadvantaged persons, still to this day. 2022 now, but once again we have a President working for the people. Positive talk. None of the conflicts of his own interest and the hateful rhetoric of ex-president trump. Let us be thankful and greatful. 💙🇺🇲💙

Do you have blinders on and ctton in your ears? The previous President had us on a path going straight to hell! And if we aren't careful and elect anything like him, we all better find God before it's to late. We need to get our acts together and do what we were created to do and that's to love one another!

@@windfordwashington8421 Your entire comment is contradictory AND totally laughable! Obama was leading us "on a path going straight to hell" and then "we need to get our acts together and do what we were created to do which is love one another" Yet THIS man preached love, God, forgiveness, and unity but he was leading us down the wrong path. This man is the best part of white, black, Pacific Islander and others giving him a very unique perspective of the people and the world around him, but HE was the bad guy. He wanted to control guns and protect our youth but HE'S leading us to Hell. While a greedy man raised to look out for numero uno whose family came from Germany and has not a drop of other blood in him, is too interested in his daughter, gave tax breaks to the one percenters who definitely didn't need it, preached separatism and the rights to carry guns without any real control even as mass shootings were taking place all around him, calls people names, picks at any and everyone is the one who is going to preach respect, love, and UNITY. 🙄 Yeah, right!!!

@@davidmckibben1931 Like signing into effect The Lily Ledbetter fair pay Act that made sure that women who did the same work as men got paid the same, like paying out stipends to the widows and families of uninsurable deceased coal miners who died from Black Lung Disease, like making sure that coal mining companies couldn't contaminate the drinking waters of poor neighborhoods they were built near, or finding homes for the homeless and displaced veterans there by reducing the homelessness rate of veterans by over 50%, paying out stimulus checks to jumpstart the recessive economy and put people back to work and money back in people's pockets, creating more jobs in his last eighteen months of presidency than Trump in his first 18 months, reducing the unemployment rate from 10% to 4.6%, passed healthcare reform for more than 20 million previously uninsured Americans, passed the wall street reform act due to wall street and the banks going bananas and foreclosing people's homes left and right, regulated the credit card companies to stop charging all those hidden fees and capped the extremely high APR rates, saved the car industry, overhauled the VA, put more funding into the GI Bill and the Tuition assistance programs for Veterans getting out of the military, brought soldiers back home from Iraq and Afghanistan, increased the overtime pay, signed the anti bullying act especially cyber bullying, signed the fair sentencing act which would make the time fit the punishment, put Medicare on sounder financial footing, boosted fuel efficiency standards, expanded healthcare services for children, signed the hate crimes prevention act, took the banks out of student financing making it possible for college students to start receiving their own federal grants directly, built up and refortified the coast after Hurricane Katrina, plus so many other positive "actions" that in one form or another affects each and every one of us. However they are too numerous and time consuming to place here. Maybe you should take it upon yourself to Google Obama and his many accomplishments as president.

A man who exemplifies, in every way, the highest ideals of what it means to be human. The hordes of humanity are not a color, a gender, a social class or a philosophy composed of competing and often conflicting ideals. For humanity at, its best, is made up of love, hopes, dreams, as well as a commonly shared and lived experience. A recognition of this truth is the miracle the world has always needed.

I worked with medical students when Obama first began campaigning. I was in my late 40's and surprised the students were so passionate and supportive. I thought he didn't stand a chance, but that he was able to inspire our young adults resonated with me. As Obama's numbers were climbing I watched the news in awe, he just mightbe the Democratic nominee. One evening an older white lifelong Republican shared he would be casting his vote for a Democrat for the very time. They asked why the change and he responded, "Because of Rebecca." He went on to explain Rebecca was a young white woman campaigning on behalf of Barack Obama that knocked at his door. She asked if she come in and talk with him about the election. He invited Rebecca in and listened as spoke with such hope, respect and belief that he was the right person to lead the country forward. As she continued speaking he saw the sincerity and confidence in her eyes. He thought to himself anyone that can inspire young adults with such hope, faith and trust has to be someone special, so I'm voting for him because of Rebecca and the country's future.

@@collins48lc Oh! What was a lie? He had young children, so you DON'T think he wanted gun control so that kids could be safe? He was biracial and raised by his white family members, but you DON'T think he wanted all the races to get along? IF he had had a son he probably WOULD look like Trayvon Martin. As a man identified by most as black over biracial he WASN'T supposed to make that commentary even though he would have been put under the same scrutiny of any other black man AND was as our president? He wasn't supposed to want to forgive student loans for college students even though it took him and Michelle forever to pay THEIR student loans off? What about sending us out stimulus checks to help us with our bills after a recession caused by the previous party, president, and administration? Was THAT a lie, as well? "I" certainly recall spending SOMETHING from the Obama administration. The cell phones for low income families? That was a lie? Making sure women started getting paid the same as a man who is doing the same job, the Lilly Led better Fair pay Act? THAT was a lie? Giving stipends to help with bills to families of coal mine workers who weren't eligible for insurance and died of Black Lung Disease. Of course, that most definitely was a lie. How about fining companies, especially coal mining companies for dumping their waste into the usable waters of communities close to these plants? What about rescuing the car industry? Providing homes for the displaced military, dropping the homelessness rate among them to over 50%? Of course, THAT was a lie. The 20 million Americans some of whom had never had any type of healthcare whatsoever now being covered was DEFINITELY a lie 🙄. Finding more jobs in the last eighteen months of his presidency than Trump had done in his first 18 months? How about rebooting and overhauling the Veteran Administration by giving them billions of dollars making them better and more reliable? Putting more money into the GI Bill so that more veterans can go to college? Enacting the First Choice program for veterans to also be able to see civilian doctors in cases of emergency? Providing Tuition assistance and retraining for retired military personnel to be made ready for the civilian world? Money into the military mental health program? Anti bullying laws, especially online? Restricting the banks on Wall Street and credit card companies from cheating people by fining them and overcharging them at the height of the recession? Bringing back most of our troops as he promised? Taking down Osama Bin Laden as he promised? I am STILL waiting to see where all the lies are. Because IF this president WAS lying, I enjoyed every lie he told that benefited me and my family, and society as a whole. 😏 I'd much rather have a president lie to me and still NOT see what HE was getting out of it other than a head full of gray hairs while another president can lie to me daily and repeatedly whose lies I only see as a way to cover HIS behind and not benefit me or mine in the least. So you go follow your liar while WE continue to live, admire, respect, and be proud of our "liar". 😄😘
