I quit 11 years ago and can honestly say it's the best thing I ever did. As a smoker for 40 years it took a heart rhythm scare to make me give up and when I stopped smoking my heart went back to normal. Alas my wife still puffs away with impunity tho'

Jimmy Carter seriously screwed up the economy and let Iran parade around hostages on national TV. Gerald Ford inherited the Nixon mess and had no chance. Trump fiddled while 250,000 Americans died. That's four losses in the last 90 years. Doesn't happen often, so you really have to be a screw up.

Believe it or not, my Business Law professor (Frank Cardenas) who went to Harvard Law School, was smoking on the campus when he was a student. One guy (Obama) came up to him asked for a cigarette and they talked very briefly. And after nearly 25 years later, Frank saw this same guy who asked for a cigarette, was running for the POTUS. And I guess this same guy still asks for a cigarette to his colleagues.

@@VICK18009 I know you probably don't care for advices but when I quit smoking in 2018 what did it for me was buproprion, my doctor told me to fix a date in which I would quit smoking and one week prior to it I would start taking Buproprion, getting the dosage higher every other day, when the day came it was very easy to quit, I didn't care for smoking or for eating and life was gray and pointless, I kept taking the drug for one week lowering the dosage and then I never smoked again and life stopped being gray. I still dream I'm smoking sometimes.
