The deductible is insane. Like 2-3,000$ before they cover anything. On top of that insurance companies decide what they will or will not pay for. “Oh you’re not diabetic so we won’t pay for this” No. But my nephrologist said it will help protect my kidneys while i wait for a transplant. Still no. Also. About that transplant. We’ll cover 3 places of our choosing. And we won’t cover your dialysis until after your deductible and then we’ll only cover 50%. Oh you lapsed on a payment due to being out of work and you need coverage for a couple more weeks so you can have dialysis? Sorry. But no. It’s the insurance companies faults.

This is not accurate. The fine for Obamacare is cheaper than having insurance you can find that out with the debate between Obama and mitt Romney. Call worker did not have insurance for almost 2 years prior to working with us he had to pay $500 for almost 2 years and he would’ve had insurance. Now that he is paying for insurance through the company he noticed a big difference because now he’s paying 9000 a year

i would like somebody to tell me why against obama care? In my case I do have obama care. I Pay $120 a month for health insurance because I dont have insurance in my job since I am a part time and student too. If I did not have obama care I would have pay a health care of $400 a month instead of the $120 I actually pay... so in my case I am happy there is the possibility to have obama care.

Try working full time and then see what your monthly premium will be. Obama Care/Affordable Car Act favors 1) part time students, 2) people who have poor paying jobs. Try making just $30,000 a year, or even $25,000 a year. I first bought OC more than 10 year ago. The monthly premium then was $250 and my deductible was $5,000. I had been going to a local doctor's office that had many doctors on staff. I was paying $60 cash as uninsured. When I had OC, I went to a doctor's office and OC paid that doctor $180 just for one visit. So for me the math was easy, I could go to my doctor THREE TIMES for $180 or to the OC doctor. I had about two visits a year then and after that the prices changed. No, I don't remember how that worked. I have looked into OC care here in 2023 for coverage next year. The deductible is now about $7,500 a month and I have seen one "Bronze care" premium for maybe $269 a month. As a school bus driver I don't usually try to beg for summer school routes and field trips but I still must pay my insurance premium. Now what if I really needed some serious care? Do YOU have $7,500 to give the government so they will take care of you? I'll be 61 on Jan 1 and I have never really had health insurance for the entirety of my life. People like me seem to get plans to take care of people like you. We work hard and we have this "fake insurance". It's fake because we can't come up with the deductible, or a lot of us can't. Meanwhile, my bus attendant has almost FREE health insurance for sitting in the back of the bus. She is a black Haitian woman and she has health insurance. I'm a white male working as hard as I can and NO, I do not have insurance. This insurance helps people who speak English as a second language. It helps students. It helps people who are unemployed half of the time. It helps people who do not have jobs. It helps people who work in fast food, in retail, etc. It helps people who have really poor paying jobs. Make just a little more and you get almost free insurance. I don't have children. I haven't had a wife. I am not used to paying for other people's needs or for taking care of them. Why is a single person trying to keep their life and mind together, all alone, expected to take care of people who have made several babies in their twenties, people who live in public housing? Make better decisions in life and OC expects you to take care of low income people. This insurance is a TAX on your stronger work ethic. And you will have to work eventually. I played around in college for a long, long time. I wasn't insured then either. Now that I am almost 61, I really need insurance and the OC basic idea is still the same, tax the slightly higher wage earners, the guy who has driven a fucking school bus for 20 years, make him pay for the bus attendants who have baby daddies, or who are from another country and speak English as a second language. And YES, I'm just airing this out for the INTERNET to read, the very few who might read this. And feel free to laugh at my life and my race, my gender and my sexual orientation which is I don't have sex with the opposite sex, I am a man who has a penis and I don't have fake breasts. I just don't matter. Start making some livable money and see how much you like paying your premium then.
