Be careful when you're in Bali.. Though, Indonesia is a largest muslim country, but the most people in Bali are Hinduism. Make sure you're not eating pork.. Hope you guys can enjoy the Ramadhan vibes in Jakarta or Bandung City.. Stay safe guys...

I hope you're enjoying Indonesia and finally visiting my parents' birth country. And I don't know if you remember me texting you about university. But if you do, I hope your studies are doing great, and I hope you're having an enjoyable semester break! Just a few things to mention because I'm also Indonesian by blood, and I can speak Bahasa Indonesia, and two dialect - Bahasa Sunda, Bahasa Minangkabau fluently and I've been every provision in Indonesia already in my life time. Indonesia is a majority muslim population in the world, even though its not run by Sharia law, Indonesia respects all religion, as Indonesia is full with rich and culture herritage. Everywhere provinsi in Indonesia you go they have their own languages it's much different than the Bahasa Indonesia where everyone speaks. Even though Indonesia has so much languages in every suburb you go, we live in harmony and speak the same Bahasa Indonesia worldwide which is taught from primary to high school. So, it's national standard. Indonesia was formally ruled by Dutch colonizer and Indonesia finally gain it's independence in 1945 and help with the first president of the Republik of Indonesia Mr. Sukarno (they're many people who help for Indonesia independence national movement but it's going to be an essay if I mention it all lol) I need to summarise it, so you understand Indonesia better! The current president is Mr.Joko Widodo, but this is his last term as president for Indonesia, Indonesia already had its election will officially announce its new president by October this year (because they're counting the votes one by one to have an official count). But I don't really like politics, so let's not get into that 😊 lol. Bali is a majority Hindu religion, but there are many temples to visit. Like the famous uluwatu temple, ulun temple, and many more. As a muslim, obviously it's very hard for us Muslim to find halal food in Bali because majority sell western food which contains Alcohol, pigs etc and as well in Bali food as well, so be careful! If you're visiting a majority tourist attractions, just visit all around Kutan Selatan like the famous Garuda wisnu kencana Cultural Park, which finally built fully. Or visit around Ubud because there lots of mountain Views and rice farms there, also very cute monkeys there. Bali people are very nice people they're like my brothers and sisters. Even though they're majority of Bali people is Hindu religion, they respect us and we respect them and just like any other religion. Also to mention majority place you go if you smell incense around do not disturb it or throw it out it's part of their religion. It smell s nice, but it isn't as strong like oud. Where like you go to Mecca and smell bakhoor its like that, but their own version of bakhoor. In terms of praying masjid, Alhamdulliah Bali has many masjid now, just google search it on near by masjid, if you want to eat halal, you should be fine, but I suggest you eat like in international outlet food like go to an Arab restaurant, or a Padang restaurant etc. Just ask if it's halal because it isn't like Jarkata or every else in Indonesia because it's less strict there because it's in Bali and many tourist people go there! Now if you're visiting other than Bali, you should try our new Bullet Train from Jarkata to Bandung. Or visit Jarkata and visit masjid Istiqlal and all wonders in Jarkata because majority people speak english. I hope you having a splendid time there!
