Turning out Jews Sahih Muslim 1766 a It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar that the Jews of Banu Nadir and Banu Quraiza fought against the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who expelled Banu Nadir, and allowed Quraiza to stay on, and granted favour to them until they too fought against him Then he killed their men, and distributed their women, children and properties among the Muslims, except that some of them had joined the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who granted them security. They embraced Islam. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned out all the Jews of Medina. Banu Qainuqa' (the tribe of 'Abdullah b. My grandfather migrated from Italy to Saudi Arabia and reverted to Islam there. Alhamdulilah, may he rest in peace, he now has a lineage of 5 children and 17 grandchildren who are all Muslim thanks to his decision SubhanAllah. Bro, after sending all the prophets peace be upon them, why God is sending the prophet to the Arabs only at the end? God send three scriptures Torah to Moses pbuh, Psalms to David and Gospels to Jesus, all the three to the Jews and only at the end to the Arabs. As per history, Jews is more or less has nothing to do with the country Israel as they are a the descendants of Jacob later renamed Israel. As per the scripture, God sends many prophets and out of a sudden, sends a prophet to the Arabs. Isn't that, to be frank something bizarre? If Jews had rejected the scriptures, then why God did not send another prophet to them? The biggest doubts arise from the following: 1.To blame Christians, their devotion to Mary could be used but why an all knowing God doesn't know that Mary is not worshipped by Christians as God and asks Jesus about that? 2.God making someone else resemble Jesus to be crucified. Wouldn't that increase chances of people worshipping Jesus as God? 3.Why would God made someone else be crucified instead of Jesus or made it to seem like Jesus was crucified? 4.Messiah comes again to save the People of the Book i.e. Jews but they are way less than the number of followers who accept the scripture send to Arabs? Why Jesus being a normal prophet, comes again and born miraculously while none of the prophets were born that way? Everyone shout at these questions, but Abraham pbuh had objected his family deities this bringing worship of One True God.

Starting with Quran is very impressive. You are amazing. I heard a guy who reverted last year he said Quran had some complicated words for him to understand at the beginning of his search of islam so he started with Hadith (a collection of prophet Mohammed pbuh sayings which, with accounts of his daily practice (the Sunna), constitute the major source of guidance for Muslims apart from the Quran). He said that Hadith is more understandable and easy for a beginner. Later on and after knowing the basics he read the Quran and took his Shahada.

This year I hope she takes shahada it’s so hard for her because there isn’t much Spanish speaking Muslims who can give her Dawah other than me and she refused to watch Islam in Spanish….. now Alhamdulillah she’s slowly listening and wow …. In my Islamic private school, on of the non-Muslim teachers took their shahada in front of the assembly and everyone was sooooooo happy, all the students were screaming with happiness, saying takbeer and it was such a happy feeling, I can still feel it. Masha Allah, so pleased for you. I've found it very helpful understanding and memorising the meaning of the last 10 surah's in the Quran at the very least. What happens then is that when I stand up before the almighty in Salah and recite the verses understanding its meaning really helps me feel connected to the almighty lord of the worlds "Allah". Try it, it was a great piece of advice given to me and now to you.

I made my Shahadah (declaration of Faith) in 1983 and have never looked back. I was an ordinand of the Church of England (training to be a priest). Your father was spot on - Christianity should not be called Christianity, but ‘Paulineality’! When I meet a Christian and they ask me what I am, I say “I am a born, born again Christian’! This puzzles them, but then I say, as a Muslim I follow the teachings of Jesus more closely than when I was a Christian. This opens the door to deeper thinking as many who are not Muslim see Islam as alien falling for many traditional tropes. It must not be forgotten, Jesus was a Prophet of God, submitted to God and therefore by definition has to be a Muslim, just as Adam, Abraham, Moses and so on did the same. They were all Muslim. Islam is not a distortion that came from the 7th century, but draws back all of the previous distortions that made Judaism into Judaism, and Christianity into Christianity, to the truth. Islam is the primordial religion and the only pure monotheistic faith. I likewise informally became a Muslim through the power of the Qur’an, before formally taking the Shahadah - anyone reading this who has not read it must do so, it is the key to greater peace on earth and opens the door to paradise.

Don’t be taken in by tropes. Open your heart to God and follow the Way of Jesus. He was a Prophet of God, the Word of God and not God himself. Just a simple study of Theology should help guide you to the truth. Read a good translation of the Qur’an. Chapter 4 is a good starting point.

Alhamdulillah, may Allah accept you and us. Make sure you stay connected to the Masjid afterwards, practising Muslims and Salah because Salah is a pillar of Islam and it is the way you connect and speak to your Lord Allah when you recite the Quran in it whilst knowing the meaning of what you recite. A piece of advice, get yourself this Quran called "The Clear Quran by Dr. Mustafa Khattab" if you don't have one. Reason why I mention this one is that the translation from Arabic to English is very easy to read and understand. I was recommended this too and love it. I went for the Hifz Edition as I'm trying to memorise the Quran as much as possible whilst understanding its meaning and the translation has been wonderful alhamdulillah. May Allah give all your family guidance to Al-Islam because truly the heart finds peace after entering into it. Learn Islam as much as you can, pray Salah, make dua for their guidance and treat them all with kindness and then gently speak to them about the Lords message. Insha'Allah may Allah open their hearts to the truth.

I moved to the UK five months ago. As a person from the biggest Islamic population in the world ( Indonesia ), I thought that it would be difficult to practise Islam in the UK, attend the Jamaah prayer at the mosque, do fasting during Ramadan, and be minorities. But I was wrong, Masha Allah..the Muslim community is really big and nice. The mosques are always lively. The enthusiasm for Ramadan is fantastic. Almost every week, people are reverting to Islam. It's growing so fast here.

Turning out Jews Sahih Muslim 1766 a It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar that the Jews of Banu Nadir and Banu Quraiza fought against the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who expelled Banu Nadir, and allowed Quraiza to stay on, and granted favour to them until they too fought against him Then he killed their men, and distributed their women, children and properties among the Muslims, except that some of them had joined the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who granted them security. They embraced Islam. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned out all the Jews of Medina. Banu Qainuqa' (the tribe of 'Abdullah b. I know we shouldn't question Allah's laws but he answered me anyway, it was just a fleeting thought and curiosity at the time. I'd a thought why only Muslim men can marry people of the book and not vice versa after looking at many reverts and my own personal life, I know now it's in His Wisdom the men is the leader of a family so the wife and kids will follow suit insyallah, it's not as easy if it's vice versa. May Allah keep your family on the Deen insyallah.

​​​@@pamalickkujabi3461yes that was the question, it was just a fleeting thought, it didn't really bother me, but I already got the answer through my own experiences, it is hard for a man to revert to Islam for their wives or future Muslim wife in most cases but it's not the case as I seen with alot of women reverting to Islam because of their husbands, after researching and accepting it for themselves of course, because of their naturally nurturing and empathetic nature and it's because the men is meant to lead the family, so having a Muslim leader or we say imam is important, it plays a role in shaping the faith within the household. It was just an epiphany when I realized that and how beautiful Allah's Wisdom is.

We have a big responsibility so that Allah made the space and the Sun and the moon and all systems useful for us, they're at our service so that people and gins can worship Allah. It's our duty. And our responsibility is the thing what makes us important, and we should be thankful cause He doesn't even need our worships. Surah ad-Dhariat 56-58: "I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me. I seek no provision from them, nor do I need them to feed Me.Indeed, Allah ˹alone˺ is the Supreme Provider-Lord of all Power, Ever Mighty." And if you're asking why us, then, Surah al-Ahzab's 72nd and 73rd ayahs: "Indeed, We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they ˹all˺ declined to bear it, being fearful of it. But humanity assumed it, ˹for˺ they are truly wrongful ˹to themselves˺ and ignorant ˹of the consequences˺,so that Allah will punish hypocrite men and women and polytheistic men and women, and Allah will turn in mercy to believing men and women. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

I'm from Borneo the land of head hunters, I took my shahadah 20 years ago. Everytime I renew my shahadah in my 5 times prayers, it felt forgiven and blessed. Bro, after sending all the prophets peace be upon them, why God is sending the prophet to the Arabs only at the end? God send three scriptures Torah to Moses pbuh, Psalms to David and Gospels to Jesus, all the three to the Jews and only at the end to the Arabs. As per history, Jews is more or less has nothing to do with the country Israel as they are a the descendants of Jacob later renamed Israel. As per the scripture, God sends many prophets and out of a sudden, sends a prophet to the Arabs. Isn't that, to be frank something bizarre? If Jews had rejected the scriptures, then why God did not send another prophet to them? The biggest doubts arise from the following: 1.To blame Christians, their devotion to Mary could be used but why an all knowing God doesn't know that Mary is not worshipped by Christians as God and asks Jesus about that? 2.God making someone else resemble Jesus to be crucified. Wouldn't that increase chances of people worshipping Jesus as God? 3.Why would God made someone else be crucified instead of Jesus or made it to seem like Jesus was crucified? 4.Messiah comes again to save the People of the Book i.e. Jews but they are way less than the number of followers who accept the scripture send to Arabs? Why Jesus being a normal prophet, comes again and born miraculously while none of the prophets were born that way? Everyone shout at these questions, but Abraham pbuh had objected his family deities this bringing worship of One True God.

Learned the Gospels to find errors but instead got confused. the Makkah prophets father's name means Slave of God, but the most important is the name of God in 'Slave of God' is same a God's name in the scripture send to the prophet from Makkah. Before Archangel Gabriel visiting the prophet, how come his father name means slave of God? Does that mean there existed a deity with the same name as that of the God in the scripture send to the prophet from Makkah as the prophets father was a polytheist? What does all this mean?

@sarinah8708 God bless you, my brother. Yes, it is true. God created humans to worship Him alone, and there is no difference between each other. But just tell me why there is always a religion. I mean Abraham, then the Psalms, the Torah, the Gospel, and finally the Qur’an. I will answer you. All the heavenly books agree on the same content, which is worshiping God alone and not involving anyone. And if you look All the prophets have one religion, from Noah to Abraham to Moses and Jesus. They all have the same religion of worshiping God, and he spoke to the common people to guide them, but with time, humans distorted the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel. Jesus never claimed to be the Son of God, but humans made him so. It was necessary, after humans distorted every heavenly book, that A new messenger comes with the same religion as the previous one, but with new teachings, just like studying. You study, but each stage has other teachings and details, from primary, middle, secondary, then to university. The same thing here. God sends messengers to guide people. When God sends a new messenger, he must be followed because he has teachings from God, and we must apply them to that. After distorting all the heavenly books, Islam came, and God said in the Qur’an: “Indeed, it is We who have sent down the Remembrance, and indeed, we will be its guardian.”... And indeed, it is a Mighty Book. * Falsehood does not come to it from before it. Behind it is a revelation from the All-Wise, All-Praiseworthy...}...Then He said: There is no compulsion in religion. Rightliness has been made clear from error, which means that no one should be coerced and terrorized for entering religion. Truth appears and falsehood appears and man has a choice. Then I want to remind you that belief in the heart is not enough, it is not enough to refrain from prayer and other things. He must believe in his heart and that God is one without a partner. To him and that he is his Lord and Creator, he must devote worship to Him, Glory be to Him, and believe in the Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and that he is truly the Messenger of God to all people. All of this is a must. This is the origin and basis of religion, and a non-Muslim can certainly enter Paradise, as long as he is united with God and performs good deeds. Moral, and not harming people. Well, in the end, I tell you, I do not know what your religion or belief is, but doing good deeds such as worshiping God, not looking at women, drinking alcohol, not eating forbidden meat, giving alms to the poor, taking care of your relatives, and speaking well with others are all good things, perhaps. You may enter Paradise, but knowledge is with God in the end. Religion is not a matter to rebuke people, rather it is a matter to control people and direct them to the right path. I hope that God will guide you, my brother. This world is not the place of humans. Certainly there is life after death and this is not the end, but Hell is truly a scary place and I do not wish for you to enter it. I hope you live a peaceful life and be righteous, and God is All-Knowing and Most Merciful.

I'm not religious (British ex-Catholic) but I found this video really interesting! I've never spoken to someone who's converted to Islam, despite having lots of Muslim-born friends. It was really enlightening. I do understand what your father means about reading the Bible - it was reading the Bible that led me to leave Christianity (although for me, I left religion altogether). I'm glad your father has found peace and acceptance in Islam; it is great to hear of how supportive the Muslim community were of him converting. I would love to see a similar video of your mother's journey to Islam and her perspective as a woman.
