I’m a daughter of Changó as of recently and I knew of Oya & Ochun but learned about Obba & I am so happy to learn about her and it’s very ironic that I am deaf in my left ear from meningitis and she fed her ear to Changó. I wonder if this is why I’m so drawn to her😂 🤍❤️🩵🩷

Bendiciones. What an amazing orisha. I have heard of her but she is rarely mentioned here in Hialeah. She is overlooked in the Cuban Ifa, Lucumi/Santeria, so very little is known of her. My crown is Obba Shabo 🥰 she was the second guess when I found out she was my guardian angel. I think my favorite parts about her are her roles as a teacher, a war strategist, and a metal worker because often she gets reduced to the story of the ear when she made so many contributions to the world outside of what was expected of women
