I think the whole bad British teeth thing is from decades ago when England didn't have the best dental system set up. It's definitely the older generations of British people that have bad teeth. The dental system has gotten much better and much more accessible over the last few decades.

LMAO, sorry you can't use cost as a reason for dental issues. Compare what dental costs are in America!! Even though we were paying for the most expensive dental insurance plan available, I still paid over $4500

Mark Normand is awesome! Regarding the whole dental issue- I just paid $1100 for a root canal and the crown will be $1400 in the US. It's insane. My dental insurance paid $1200 of it, but still had to pay $1300 out of pocket. Didn't realize that it was just as high in the UK.

I also did the 60% braces as a kid. Except my guy just never did anything for 6yrs and I just had them remove them. I find it better than overly perfect teeth in my shitty teeth opinion

Dentistry is so expensive in the US that dental vacations to Mexico is a thriving industry. It still costs thousands for the amount of work I need but is better than the 14 grand estimate I got in texas a normal if not low amount for Total removel and basic dentures. I'm a disabled cancer patient so I got a major discount because i found a sympathetic dentist in west texas but im still paying 8 grand out of pocket and thankful for it

American here, mostly Scotch-Irish, Native-American, and Norwegian. Never needed braces, rarely needed dental attention, with the exception of wisdom teeth. My wisdom teeth grew in so messed up I had to have them pulled. They were causing me fever and hallucination inducing ear infections before I got them pulled. But other than that my teeth are like naturally perfect. I have an extra flat top tooth in the front row on the bottom, 5 instead of 4. And my canines are rotated like 45° and long and sharp. My premolars and molars are also sharp and have sharp ridges with a deep valley in between, and the sharp ridges of the bottom fit into the canyons on the top and vice versa. So like...bear teeth. I'm always biting the inside of my cheek, but I can eat a steak quick as hell.

I worked in a factory here in the USA where two-thirds of our workforce were Guatemalan. (Until Trump "iced" them away). Their dentistry was amazing. Their teeth were encrusted with gold, emeralds, rubies, and diamonds or just plain gold. They are beautiful artists, and according to my Guatemalan friends, with about 600 bucks, you can get the same. I'd also like to add that even the most secluded tribal people have cell phones and know how to use them. They come here well dressed and, with internet and advanced. Our government I'd not burdened by them. Our factory took a huge hit with the loss of these fine people. But anyhow, they have stunning teeth. And the older they were, the better. That says a ton for a civilization that respects the teeth. I'm 61, and my bad teeth are actually killing me. There's no cheap dental here. What a progressive country.

They were fleeing their country to seek asylum here. I was told to watch a movie called El Norte. It explained what was happening in Guatemala.
