Once you code the stuff you can remove it and the codings will all stay

Can you enable sweeping indicators like you see on newer models and audis? I'm guessing it can't just be switched on without some mods on the car?

You can't do that, because your lights are most likely not LED. For sweeping light you would need specific LED taillights and front light for them to work

You're welcome! And yes exactly, you can revert back to the factory settings by doing exactly that.

Also worth noting all the changes that are done with credits / apps - they can also be done by long coding without the cost of credits! So for example, on a bmw to enable wireless car play the cost of 100 credits - but you can simply google around on which modules you need to tweak the settings and do the exact same thing manually for 0 credits! but I believe you need the pro version of OBD to Long code

Question that I could not ascertain from watching your video nor can I find it online....I have a 2021 USv mk7.5 and it did NOT come with the performance gauges. Does this unit allow one to activate that feature? I saw something having to do with it as you were scrolling but I am not sure. Thanks in advance.

Hi Michael - No so the gauges you saw as I was scrolling is the "off-road" gauges. The performance ones which give boost and temp etc can not be added by this sadly! I believe you need a special code from either VW or a retrofitter to get them activated onto your car! Was also hoping to get them on mine as I don't have them - but then found out its not possible via this!

I have a TDI Golf Mk7 with Mk7.5 PLUG AND PLAY TAILIGHTS with sequential indicators. You think OBD11 will allow me to commemorate 'Urban Joke' and other mods with plug and play tailights? And my headlights are plug and play too i believe if that's what the prev owner purchased (like yours) will they be compatible for mods through obd11? Cheers, Sakib.

I personally think so because if then if you wanna change something you can do it right off your phone straight away - also good for diagnostics if something goes wrong you can find out exactly what it is

Can you switch off the 2 cylender mode with this? There is a known problem with some mk7 golf with there is a strange rattling noise at certain revs while the 2 cylender eco mode is on. I have been to many garages and none can find the issue. If I can switch off 2 cylender mode then I have fixed the issue.

Hi mike - also in the UK and I personally think its great to keep! lets you code in the extra mods as and when you want it and also good for diagnostics! For example, I also have the Performance pack so have the front diff. you can experiment with the XDS settings using this to get better traction and stuff. Ive just lowered my setting so now ive noticed I get less wheel hop too

Ill look into making a long coding video using that - I did some long coding in my reverse camera install video but that was using VCDS as I didn't have my obd11 at that time - but its even easier with this! in terms of buying, id get it directly from them - you can use the link in the description to browse and purchase :)

As far as im aware it shouldn't do - my thinking is that its all there you're simply enabling it and worst case, you can always deactivate it and code it back to stock before any warranty work is due? Things like ECU remapping will get flagged up but this stuff is all good I think

Hmmm do you have an OBD 11? If so give the car a scan it will tell you exactly what the error is? Fro experience the only red light ive had come up is to do with engine coolant

I think most are possible on VCDS - you just have to google around on forums to find the correct settings and modules to enter to do the same thing! This just makes it easy easier but im sure its possible

No the credits come with the purchase and you get free credits each day and you can buy additional ones. However, with the pro version you can manually do the codings for free. You only pay credits if you want the one click easy option
