Okay, I was genuinely not expecting to see another Obenseuer video. INFRA is one of my favourite games ever and I loved your series. I honestly hope that you make more videos playing this game because I freaking love it. And it's wholesome seeing that the devs noticed you. It makes me like this game even more.

Abiotic factor is a game that you should play. It's basically a survival game, with Half-Life graphics, set in a Half-life style base, over-run by weird creatures, rogue robots and is truly awesome.

You can have stuff to feed your addiction and still kick the habit, just wait 'til it turns red, then have something weak. For example, alcoholism, have the weakest beer you can find, but just the one, and wait as long as possible/your comfortable with, to have another one. edit: The sauna behind the tenement can help with mental health, but it needs to be hot, too hot and it can hurt you though. You can buy anti-depressants from the chemist, but i think you need a prescription. You can throw a mattress on the floor in your own apartment too, it's not great but it's free. For wood, go behind and to the right of the tenement, there is a tree lying down, and you can chop that. If you're okay with a little light theft, the hostel has a floodlight you can take :) Special Edit: Do Not The Duck XD

My favorite spot is the basement of the tenement with the pod hotel, the sink has clean water and its not considered stealing... as long as you dont mess with the washers

💚 Really love this game 😊 If things have not change: Easy way to get clean water is to use one of those big plastic cans in the Pod sleeping place kitchen sink. Milk cartons can also be recycled for good money. Grow potatoes, no seeds needed. Just plant some of the raw potatoes again. Infinite potatoes! ❤😊🥔

You can kick addictions in this game by indluging them in very tiny amounts. I kept drinking very lean alcohol until the need came up less often, and eventually I didn't need it at all anymore. Hope this bit of info helps.

A TIP. You can change the settings so the needs come slower, it becomes more realistic that way. And you can sell most of the stuff you have in the apartment to get a big early money boost.

There's a game with similar atmosphere, Hobo: Tough Life. It's a bit less about urbex and is more about urban survival but it's definitely worth checking out if you like Obenseuer.

I played a lot of this game myself, and it's the steepest learning curve I've experienced in an immersive sim, while simultaneously being the most fun to just run around in. I loved getting into the habit of scavenging all the good loot places and occasionally making enough money to BARELY make a real apartment for someone to live in!! (after endlessly fumbling which tenant had what requirement, and what rooms were even applicable for them, lol)

That's how you know it's realistic! (don't worry, there's difficulty settings to change the rate it goes at, making it faster or slower, or even turning it off completely)

@@stefyroxanne7567 Sometimes a character gets entirely youtubed, it's just the nature of the game, sadly. The main things that boost happiness besides what you mentioned, are volunteering (slight boost), sleeping in a Relaxing *_player owned_* Safe bed (the beds in the hostel merely "maintain baseline", for sleep to _improve_ your state it has to be a player owned bed in your apartment), and _not working at the marketing place_ (it's the biggest direct penalty to mental health in the game).

honestly, now that you are effectively going to be able to instantly buy whatever you need to deal with whichever moodlet goes down, might as well lower the damage each moodlet takes over time. or in my case, turn them off entirely. because all you are doing by not doing that, is walking somewhere, clicking on something, then eating/drinking from your pack. sure it costs money, but is the money really not going to come back? especially when its not taking much money from you each time either, so its not really a punishment you have to go out of your way to deal with. its like, an inconvenience at this point. as a side note: when I played the planet crafter, I didn't see a need to use any difficulty beyond relaxed mode, since I would still lose oxygen/hunger/water anyway, but if you speedrun it you get to drink water wherever you go and not need oxygen within about the first 10-20 hours of gameplay. also, I think now that you are more familiar with the mechanics and where to go, you should start again and not focus heavily on removing addictions, instead you should see about exploring the environment to determine where there are little tricks, like where to find free clean water, and where to get certain things like the free axe and stuff. but also now you know that the wooden boxes are removable and stuff. I'd like to see you take notes and keep these locations in mind for an eventual recorded lets' play run through to get your first tenant(s) in! like just knowing where a distillary is, and where you can shower, and stuff, and like a better bed. anyways, I don't expect you to actually do this, it'd just be something neat.
