Here's a little history of the Passion Play:
In 1633, Oberammergau was struck with the bubonic plague, and many died. The townspeople vowed that if the deaths stopped, they would perform a Passion play every ten years to show their appreciation to God. The plague ended, and the townspeople fulfilled their vow.
The Passion play is held in Oberammergau every ten years, and we made it to the 2022 play!
This was a rare opportunity, and we are so glad to be able to share it with you!
