​@@CocktailsWithEdgar I believe it was the record labels doing. On top of the fact that this original EP was one man, Brad Oberhofer, in his bedroom. The debut album of Oberhofer which has a lot of those original EP songs on it features a full band.

Still one of my favorite demo albums of all time. I feel the production of the original versions were truer to the spirit of the song and band. The new album is grand but I still have a nostalgic bias towards my first exposure to these versions.

Absolutely. Brad in his bedroom alone is so much better than full production Oberhofer. I always go back to this original EP when showing people his work.

It was like summer of '09 or '10, I was living in downtown Portland in a litteral closet for $200 a month. I was 21 and living it up as much as was possible. It was magical time and I remember I had this album on my Ipod Nano. Man this album brings me back
