BTW, For beginners especially, selling pre-orders is a great dropshipping method as, in addition to the obvious benefits, many companies charge different for the same preorder so finding a cheap one on an action figure for example on a site such as forbidden planet, means that once one of the larger companies such as amazon sell out of said preorders, demand will increase as most will be unaware or untrusing of obscure sites. In addition, selling pre-orders allows you to borrow up to your total revenue tax free if you need to do so. This is possible as most companies wont charge for preorders until the product is released/dispatched.

I've seen this with a lot of people that they get into e commerce thinking that drop shipping is an easy business. Don't fall into this trap. Actually drop shipping is lot more harder and complicated than you think. You have to know how to build a website, product research, product development, product fulfillment, supplier research, branding, marketing, advertising, SEO, shipping, etc. Also you have to deal with a lot of problems such as late shipping times, charge backs, bad customer experience ,low quality products, banned Ad accounts, etc. So don't even think this is an easy business 😂. And statistically proven, 90% of dropshippers fail and lose money. So, it's not a get rich quick scheme unlike those fake gurus tell you also it may take you years of hard work to build a successful dropshipping business. I can tell you this from my past experience as I used to be a drop shipper before till I founded my own marketing agency.

My question is: If I place an order for my customer and I buy it from the supplier, who will then ship it to my customer, won't the package come from a different company name then my company name? Hi Laura, thanks for the question! You are correct that the package will have the address of the supplier on it. This is necessary for legal and logistical shipping reasons. However, we've found that most dropshippers don't receive much pushback. -Tommy

@@Ioustianos That would only happen if you are dropshipping from Walmart or Amazon, which isn't recommend. There are many other services that would let you dropship their product, and in some cases (like the one I was using), they would let you put your logo and even a customized store receipt. Even if you are using Aliexpress, theres an option to tell the seller to not include any receipt or anything else, just a blank box with the address and the product.
