So many QBs with 4k yards and 30+ TDs while also having a RB or WR with either 1k yards or 1k rushing and love had neither. AJ did show up the last few games but other than that, no run game. But I agree with you 💯 he will be a problem because he doesn’t baby a specific receiver. So proud of Jordan love. He is insanely talented & at the same time humble. I said last season that he has all the talent to play the Quarterback position. I saw flashes of greatness when he came in to play against the eagles team, threw a back shoulder to jones that should’ve been caught. I knew then that we had another STUD QB in Jordan Love. We are witnessing Love become a superstar before our eyes. As a packers fan, I have nothing but love for Rodgers. Without him, I don’t think Jordan is the player he is today. Tons of credit goes to Matt LaFleur as well. He’s gonna be in the running for MVP next 2024.

All season I've seen reports of the Packers dumping Aaron Jones. However his return after his injury was a HUGE CATALYST for the offense. Aaron Jones looked like he did before. I'm hoping that the Packers realize how important he is and this talk of "moving on" from him stops. Now I will admit the Injury Bug had plagued the Packers a LOT this season. Christian Watson seemed to always be out for one thing or another. I would love to see what he's capable of for a full season. When he does play he has shown flashes of incredible talent. This entire Receiving corps, almost all are rookies or have played two seasons have shown some insane abilities and talent. D.Wicks, R.Doubs, Musgrave, and even Bo Melton at the end had shown some insane abilities to play at a incredibly high level! This Receiving corps has been nothing short of spectacular on multiple occasions, and the Tight Ends have also made a huge impact as well. Again Musgrave and Kraft were phenomenal at times. This season really was exciting to watch and experience. What's even more exciting however is what these players will be capable of next year, and subsequent seasons. I severely underestimated this team and again I was really really off on my assessment. Now our defense was a bit shaky, sketchy, and not always on point, but our newest rookie Lukas Van Ness had some flashes of incredible talent. Quay Walker was also really good. I'm not sure what's up with Jaire Alexander? But he has been a really good player in pass coverages. The future for this team looks very very bright! The next 2-5 years should be very very interesting, exciting, and competitive, especially in the NFC North.

Love has impressed me this year, especially in the 2nd half of the season. However, I'm going to wait until next season before I completely say he is "the guy". I want to see how he does after one offseason of defenses adjusting to him. He now has a full season of film for DC's to study to see how they want to disrupt him. I think the biggest jump for QB's is always year number 2 as a starter. Either way, this year has been a huge success for him and he has a young core of receivers that are growing together. If they can all take the next step next season GB could be back to being a dominant force for years to come.

Fantastic! They are in the playoffs, but I'm still looking forward to next season, because they will still have all 7 of these receivers. This pretty much means that Samore Toure is probably the odd man out, but I do believe that they will pick a receiver in the first 3 rounds of the draft. Obviously their biggest needs are Cornerback/Safety, middle Linebacker (I doubt Campbell is back), Tackle (but their O-Line has been outstanding without Bahktiari), and Running Back (I'd keep Jones over AJ Dillon).
@Toucanbird
@Toucanbird 4 ай бұрын
Why? Watson, Doubs, Melton, Reed, Wicks, Heath and Toure are all 1st and 2nd year receivers. Pretty much the last thing the Packers need to draft is wide receiver. If the Packers have any draft needs, it’s defensive backs and linebackers, especially if the Packers don’t re-sign Jaire Alexander. While the offensive line was very good, it never hurts to focus on getting depth at that position, especially considering offensive line injuries can devastate a team if it doesn’t have quality backups. For the most part, I agree with your assessment, but the Packers have bigger fish to fry than drafting wide receivers.

One thing that I take away from Jordan Love from this year compared to the last 2 years and including college , his hip movement and feet have made such huge strides man ! Aaron Rodgers was always know for how exuberant his hip movements were but it contributed to Aaron being such an accurate passer and in addition it helped Aaron put the type of velocity on his throws showing dude was able to zip in these passes. This season you saw early on there were moments where he was still a little stiff in his hip movements but as the season progressed he definitely got more comfortable in his mechanics and he flourished into a really solid passer . Being behind Aaron Rodgers’s and understanding how important your mechanics are for a passer and understanding how it affects your accuracy and velocity is huge! I’m glad Jordan was able to take in a lot of what he saw from Aarons mechanics and apply it into his repertoire!

I was very critical about Jordan Love. I'll admit I was not happy when the Packers traded Aaron Rodgers to the Jets. I remember thinking here we go again! I had hoped for at least one player to spend his entire career in Green Bay, as a Packer. The lack of loyalty of the Packers front office was not very good to accept. As the season began 2-1, we looked okay. Hmm I thought, maybe, but then my original predictions showed up. Loss after loss. However Jordan Love as I look back wasn't that bad. I honestly thought we'd win maybe 4 or 5 games. Maybe 7 if we were lucky and 8 if we could get a miracle. Well, as the season progressed I saw Jordan Love really grow, and all of the hype I had not believed was actually happening. He became more comfortable with the game, in the pocket, and with his receivers. Which I will also admit, have really been flat out amazing! Tucker Kraft, we finally have another good Tight End! Romeo Doubs? WOW! And the return of Aaron Jones has really been a huge boost! It's been a wild season and I want to once again Apologize for my lack of faith in Jordan Love. Not only has he really grown into a top tier Quarterback, but he is also one incredibly decent person. I'm sure everyone has heard about Jordan Love helping a person during our recent blizzard. She was stuck in a snow drift and Jordan Love got out of his car to check on her, to make sure she or whoever was in the car was OKAY. Then he helped push her car out of the snow drift. ❄ THIS is more than just a Player or a "Star". This is a decent person, a honorable man who cares for more than just being a superstar. Which is why I love Wisconsin. No disrespect to the bigger cities, or teams like New York, Los Angeles, even Dallas, but Green Bay is a smallish town. Yes there are some issues here, but overall life here is pretty darn good. I'm sure there are other teams/cities that have some similar experiences or stories like this one. But here in Green Bay life just seems a bit less complicated than bigger cities, and lot nicer, safer, calmer, and we care about each other it seems a little bit more than other places. Again I'm not trying to disrespect or bash any other cities or their teams, or their players. NOT AT ALL. I grew up in Milwaukee during the 70's. During those years I was able to get to see the Packers play at Milwaukee County 🏟Stadium🏟, and I was so lucky to have been able to see the Milwaukee Brewers play there. From 1975 until County Stadium was closed for good I got to see hundreds of games, but what was so different, and so special was that afterwards, we could wait in the parking lot where the players parked their cars, and they'd come out, walk to their cars and trucks, and usually they'd stop and sign autographs. I was able to meet Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, Gorman Thomas, Ben Oglive, Jim Gantner, Don Money, Moose Haas, and my all-time favorite Mike Caldwell. Mike Caldwell after the last home game of the 1978 season, he gave me his home team cap. I lost it! I was also able to meet one of the Brewers LEGENDARY announcers, Bob Uecker! He also came out there as well. He was always, ALWAYS a very kind, decent, and cordial person. As were the players, most of the time. Some would spend 10-15 minutes signing autographs. It was amazing for a kid to get to meet players like that. I have no idea how teams like the Dodgers, Yankees, Red Sox, or other clubs did that, but I know in Milwaukee it was a special event for us. After Miller Park went up I never found out how much that part changed. I was much older and teams and players were much more inaccessible, but at least for a while, it was a great experience. Wisconsin has always been special. Which is why I again want to apologize for my own lack of loyalty towards the Packers and Jordan Love. This season has been very exciting! And whatever happens against the Cowboys, THANK YOU PACKERS FOR ONE HECK OF A SEASON!!
