@@mm24583This is so facts. My dads side of the family is ob€se af. I’m lean, fit, and muscular, close to 200 pounds at 6’3. My ex also had a huge mom who called my ex’s brother (similar height and weight as me) “basically anor€xic”. It’s basically weightflation. I've never really commented here, but i wanted to drop my opinion. Im a graphic designer and i know how the whole branding/target audience/ demographic thing goes. Not every brand is targeted to everyone. They have a certain audience they are trying to reach, and thats it. If her brand is targeting slim women or models, then that's her brand. If every brand had to target everyone and be inclusive, there would be no competition. There might as well just be one universal brand then. I’m glad I’m not the only one with this opinion. These plus size people blame everyone but themselves. Not everything has to be about you. I’m a little fat but do I blame you or anyone else? No. I’m lifting and working so I don’t become more fat because I’m borderline diabetic (family genes is why I’m close.) Plus size people see a person working out or lifting and say “you’re fat phobic!” When in reality what they mean is “you’re fat phobic because I’m fat and blame everyone but myself for my poor personal choices!” Now not every plus size person is like this but some are and this is targeted towards them because they are so self entitled and don’t realize that they are fat because it’s their fault and blame others and others companies for not including them. I feel like people have stopped speaking their mind because of this “cancel culture” bullshit. People used to speak on things like this without being scared and people used to not be so damn self entitled too. It’s crazy how much life has changed since 2017.

They wouldn’t show the models doing lines of cocaine or shooting heroine that’s unhealthy, so why should they show obese models? You can’t expect a company to want to do anything but present their product in the best light, and promoting any kind of unhealthy, unattractive and eventually fatal practices isn’t gonna draw anyone to the product and isn’t going to sell the product well. The company’s job isn’t to make the woke happy it’s to sell, so of course they’re gonna use attractive people, just as they’d use the best quality camera and lighting. It’s insane that a company is being criticised for trying to present their product as best as possible, imagine telling Apple that no that’s unfair and they must use a 480p camera to film their commercials

The problem with hypocrites is that they always direct their criticisms outwardly as a part of their own efforts to be "better than" by lack of accountability. And it's really sad in my opinion bc, as opposed to being something other than, every body is supposedly owed something because they're the "victim" and bc of what someone else supposedly did. This, in turn, has created a society that has become ultimately degenerate.
