@@xxheart_breakerxx8732youre right, its not the bpd itself that causes random memory loss, its dissociation, which is a common symptom of bpd, that does it. it occurs during stressful times where essentially your brain is trying to protect you from outside influences and stressors, common with traumas. which is why it makes sense in the context of "random childhood traumas" she said she suppressed for so long, but it makes zero sense in the scenario where she forgot she tried a type of food. unless trying that food occured while she was at a gunpoint or something. as for her partners, it makes sense to me she was stressed, depressed and what not. she was the abusive one there but her pitying herself to the degree she does it makes it easy for me to think she could've freaked out every time things didnt go her way

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think a root to a lot of these problems is that ALR is really bad at KZbin. She is still putting out 2015 style vlogs with bad/minimal editing. The content isn’t creative or engaging. After a decade of doing this, the only people left to watch are there to see her as a spectacle. While she seems like a person who appreciates creativity, she does not seem to be very creative herself. I think so many of her issues come from something that she is not good at to be her source of income. It probably greatly impacts her mental health and spurs much of her self destructive behavior.

I didn’t even realize she put the camera back in the fridge, thus keeping the door open that whole time, when explaining the olive jar not popping. ☠️

Has Cholesterolynn Greed ever tried a fiber-rich Mediterranean/DASH/MIND diet? That's my normal diet, not a special diet. My calories, carbs, and weight take care of themselves. Most doctors and cardiologists approve of this diet, but diet culture ignores it.

I mean the one thing I’ll give her is that changing is hard - and it’s possible to be upset about weight gain and also have difficulty changing it. You lie to yourself when you make bad decisions “it’ll just be this one last time” or “this one trip isn’t a big deal” and all those little things add up until you gain weight and feel ashamed. Especially when you have such powerful food noise and your body is so used to eating what it does. It’s so hard - granted, I have a hard time having sympathy for her after ALL the opportunities she’s had for additional help in the process, but I at least understand your mind being in a weird place where you’re upset about weight gain but also not finding yourself able to do anything about it
@DivaAllyC23 күн бұрын
Difference between empathy and sympathy. There’s the empathy of understanding that it’s difficult and she’s had a lot to deal with and has gotten used to using food for comfort, but there’s no more feeling sorry for her (sympathy) because she’s been an adult for over a decade now, she’s been lucky to be in a position she’s made a load of money over the years doing very little and has zero obligations or responsibilities so has had the time and money to get all the help in the world to heal and change and just won’t

sometimes i feel like amber forgets she’s a 30 yr old women. like regardless of your size you have the willpower and mind of a grown person. her “needing” to get take out once a day and that being a “compromise” is ridiculous.

I find it so mature of you to not attack/pick apart the unnecessary things like the fact that she’s buying pre-made foods (I.e. boiled eggs, chopped Brussel sprouts). I just really appreciate that about your attitude/comments. It’s a very HEALTHY mindset to have about food. Some people can get really toxic about “true food” diets. And sometimes just eating something- like you said- that’s easy and reliable is exactly what someone needs to have a healthier relationship with food. So thanks for being cool ❤

It was likely in the fridge when it was bought and she’s *_that_* lazy that she can’t even be bothered to take that tiny thing out of her fridge

I have watched you and Amber both for years. I don't comment super often but I am someone that unfortunately understands a lot of where she comes from and how she feels. I am a 400lb 40 year old. I've lost about 85lbs over the past year or so but I still have so much more to go. One thing I will say... is that our Gorl CHOSE to come home. She just seems so much more free, herself, and happy since she has been back in Oklahoma. I think she may really be trying to put herself first and some of that situational anxiety may be from decisions she might not want but needs to make. I could be wrong but I just have this feeling.

Honestly if I opened a jar and it didn’t pop and I realized it wasn’t sealed properly I probably wouldn’t eat it either

Gorl. If the jar hasn't been opened I don't put it in the fridge (unless I bought it for entertaining guests and the food is supposed to be served cold).

All this takeout. Can she not just cook for herself? A simple casserole or italian pasta dish would last for 2 days. She must be addicted to this ultra processed crap and that's why she will never lose weight. God bless you Rarety, I think of you.

You really inspired me today, holiday time is always the hardest to not gain weight with all the food that is involved. We really have to truly want to do it for ourselves.

A decade ago, my husband and I moved from the country (no take out or delivery) to a small city. The first night in our new home we sat on the floor (movers hadn't arrived yet) and ate Chinese delivery out of the cute little cartons that we had only seen in movies. We call it a "delivery date" and enjoyed the urban experience to the fullest. I don't believe we have ordered a take out meal since. (PS: for accuracy -- we have ordered pizza when guests spontaneously visit at dinner time.)
@quix68923 күн бұрын
If you're used to eating out 2-3 times a day, changing to once a day is still better. Then after that becomes normal, you can change to once a week. I understand ALR is unlikely to do that, but my comment isn't for her - it's for anyone like her who wants to take baby steps to get healthier so as to not change too much too soon.

She has the money and the time to cook all of her meals. I'd understand ordering takeout if she had a 9-5 job, but girl rarely leaves her home

So I haven’t watch Amber’s content for about a year now, and it’s pretty sad that she’s in the same situation but with different characters/cast members in her circle. She has the same attitude, same lies. She thinks she’s trolling us, but she’s trolling herself, she’s gonna end up dead. This whole situation its just straight up sad, I really think she’s nos capable or doesn’t want to change her ways.

Not that this really even matters in th3 grand sceme of things, but idk why she continues to lie about never being over 572lbs. Its as if she forgot she has a video where she says she was 615lbs at one point. And she was bedbound before that so probably even higher

I order out a lot. Once every two days or so. The markets here are expensive and I’m the Simpsons meme of burning cereal….. BUT one take out meal lasts me a couple of days of dinner. And usually my other food is nuts, veggies and fruits. No chips or chocolate - Water and tea only. So you can eat out often- but like you still have to be mindful what you order. How many calories- avoiding fast food etc

No one has believed her for years and years. This isn't new news. She makes money off of KZbin and the people who react to her make money. But the biggest contributors are the "haters". Those people are her bread and butter (Pun intended) And it will go on and on and on and on...
