But I couldn't help writing her this one(small correction):clomiphene does not decrease estrogen levels, it only blocks the estrogen receptors- it is a selective estrogen receptor modulator(SERM). By blocking E recetors, negative feedback of estrogen on hypothalamus n pituitary is blocked , so FSH levels rise, which stimulate follicular development. Blockade of E receptors on endometrium decrease endometrial thickness and blockade of those in cervical mucous makes it thick
