Also Death Battle doesn’t only use Canon Feats. They will gladly include something outside of the Canon if it is supported by Canon. A good example of this is in Mob vs Tatusmaki where they used Tatsumaki’s meteor feat because it was supported by Canon.

You may not have noticed it, but at the final attack, Obi wan crushed Kakashi's sharingan eye so he couldn't predict his next attack, which is why Obi wan won. You can even see kakashi switch to the purple lightning when it happens

In Legends Force Wielders are OP for example Luke became so powerful that only Gods of the Star Wars Universe could give him a good Fight he with very little effort defeated Brakiss twice who could a Force Wielder manipulate the energy of actual Stars. Any Canon Jedi can kill most anime characters, even Dragon Ball characters, even if it can't destroy a planet you could still just kill someone by thinking. You don't need to use any motions or hand gestures to use the force at all, it moves instantly and it's invisible with infinite range. Even if you could somehow see it coming you wouldn't be able to block it or dodge it unless you could use it, especially against abilities like force crush which Jedi used all the time, and it could be used non lethally. I've noticed that most people rush to defend Kakashi without considering Obi Wan or the abilities of the force at all.

Obi-Wan at his peak was one of the strongest Jedi around. He was comparable to peak power Anakin [who he beat in RoTS]. For reference Anakin feats [and most other Jedi masters outside of like Yoda and Windu in some areas] can be accomplished by Obi Wan. Even then Obi Wan has plenty of his own feats to show this was a one sided battle The movies was just one part of SWs lore. The expanded media and games shows what Force can really do. Obi-Wan had a hard counter to most of Kakashi’s ways of attack. Genjutsu would not work on someone mentally disciplined as him, Fireballs would get nulled by force push, Lightsaber as a weapon is way more threatening then a lightning kunai, and of course his reaction speed makes dodging easy considering his whole fighting style is defense focused. Kakashi gets killed by Pain in Naruto who had similar abilities as Obi Wan [in a much smaller scale]. Obi-Wan purposely died in IV to put the gears in motion for Luke the new generation at the time. Sorry Star Wars power level in general beats Naruto power levels

That's not really a problem if you're facing another ninja, obviously, but the only beings that have chakra in Naruto are those who are either descended from the beings that introduced it, or who were granted it through the fruit. Whereas the reason they compare Obi's feats to other Jedi is because he's been described as either on par/better than them so they analyzed the other's feats. I doubt bias was present.

1. Seth the programmer is as flawed as death battle. He said that buu could easily beat kirby. That is all I needed to know. 2. Anakin and general grievous had impressive feats. The feat they showed were anakin as a rookie and his dark side turn in 3 and obi was able to match him. Grievous had beaten countless jedi and yet the force crushed his chassis. Black holes, force choking some one across the galaxy, ripping reality itself, the force is op. 3. Kakashi is actually slower than obi. Even low level droids in star wars have nanosecond feats and obi murked them on a daily basis. Obi can see the future. Obi has better mental training. So the genjutsu is out. 4. How is this biased? Kakashi is not beating anyone from star wars eu. Biased would be like "thanos beats darkseid because infinity war was the best movie ever" that is biased. 5. Might guy has no feats of his own. He has to be scaled to both kakashi and his final form has to be scaled to base form naruto. So your argument of " if he is so powerful, show me" does not apply hear. 6. The fight animation is there for enjoyment. That's it. In reality, obi could crush him from a distance and walk away. I love naruto as much as the next person but star wars eu is on a completely different level. I am not calling this a squash in obi wan favor but he outdoes kakashi in literally everything. That’s like saying “Superman hasn’t moved the Sun, but Zod has. So Superman, by default, can’t move the sun because he never did so in the comics, despite being on the equivalent power level as Zod.” The fact is, you don’t really NEED to have concrete evidence that Obi-Wan can survive a blast that General Grievous survives from. If General Grievous is that tough and Obi-wan can mop the floor with him, doesn’t that make Obi-wan more powerful enough to survive that? It’s honestly logic (fantasy logic at best, yeah) but the same can apply in real life. Say cars, for example. If their latest Roadster is based on the previous design with only upgraded internals and efficiency in power and the previous design is able out race a Ford Mustang, are you going to argue that the updated model CAN’T because no one has done it? Because, in the end, they’re comparably similar enough to estimate that it can definitely do so. Obi-wan and other Jedi share the same “Force” and there is no “ here’s a package of The Force for each of you Jedi” and there are some with more capable feats than others. But if Obi can go toe-to-toe or match up with those exact Jedi capable of those feats, who’s to say he isn’t that powerful unless he either dies quickly from taking them on or simply got lucky?

The General Grievous feat was Obi-Wan's, and they compared him to all those other Jedi because he has matched Anakin in battle, who himself can match and overpower them all. Obi-Wan is considered one of the most powerful Jedi masters anyway, so it makes sense that he himself would be able to do what they can and more using the Force, since all of their power stems from that same source, which makes scaling actually pretty accurate here.

People be arguing about the whole EU feats. Obiwan legit doesn’t need EU feats to beat Kakashi. Kakashi is around the speed of lightning, I’ll even say he’s faster than sound just for argument sake. Obiwan deals with blaster bolts, opponents with multiple lightsaber, who by the way swing them at around the speed of sound (possibly more) and he’s always deflecting them fine. Obiwan has been shown to use the force to augment his physical abilities such as speed and durability (episode 1 and 3). Both are incredibly intelligent and have years of experience and I don’t mean to downplay Kakashis war experience but Obiwan has been a general in an intergalactic war, i think it’s reasonable to say his experience outclasses kakashi. Chakra is only exclusive in the Naruto world. It comes from Kaguya so like there’s no equivalent to it in other worlds (so being a genjutsu expert, sensory shinobi doesn’t help you much outside of the Naruto world). This is the force, it’s all encompassing and Obiwan naturally taps into it. Kakashis kamui doesn’t work well if the opponent is faster, kakashi barely reacted to pein and Sasuke who I think Obiwan is much faster than and tbh kakashi is more of a speedy, assassin which doesn’t help him here cause Obiwan can sense/react to whatever kakashi throws at him. Clone wars and the movies are enough to justify Obiwan> Kakashi

Also the only thing stopping a Jedi from doing what others are doing is the amount of control/power they have with the force. And Obi-wan is known to be more powerful than the Jedi that were shown throughout the video, that’s why they showed them in the first place. When it comes to Jedi, if one can do it, so can the others if they have enough control in the force, especially if they’re as powerful as obi-wan

One of the other factors that limits their Force abilities is the strain it puts on them. One Jedi used himself as a conduit for a dozen other Jedi and used a massive burst of telekinesis to throw an Imperial fleet out of the system- it worked, but the Jedi who was the conduit died from the strain. You see it all the time with Sith- the ones who go out of control with the Force become more rugged, looking sickly. It's not just aesthetic, they are actually destroying their own bodies over time from using the Force too excessively, which is why even the Sith don't go all-out with their powers; they know that they could die if they overdo it.

yeah, you're underestimating jedi and force users in star wars. You're right about jedi and sith having limited stamina and can be fatigued after a long battle, but that's when they can use the force to amp their speed to ridiculous levels, being equal to even ninjas. Chakra is a limited source while the force is unlimited. Obi wan could draw the battle out to last days while Kakashi can't. Starkiller is a sith apprentice turned jedi who brought a star destroyer down onto a planet and destroyed it. He's one example of just how powerful and absurd jedi and sith are. If you only seen the movies, then you're limiting obi wan's abilities based on what is provided. You have to take into account every comic and book then, because if you want kakashi's entirely arsenal of abilities, then obi wan should receive that benefit as well

Palpatine tells Vader to go to mustafar to to do this and then pour his raw negative emotions into it. he at first fails but then Vader summons force lightning into the kyber crystal. the lighting is so powerful that it nearly destroys the entire planet. this wasn't peak and most powerful Vader either, it was a younger Vader before the original trilogy. Vader was so powerful that he created a force storm that nearly obliterated an entire planet . later on a more powerful Vader faces off against Obi Wan on the death star, Obi wan was able to match Vader attack for attack. he was able to contend with power capable of destroying a planet

They are taught to use the force in many ways as well as main tain concentration even in the harshest of settings. Everyday is a test for a jedi to see will they turn to the dark side. Also there's the light saber training that goes along with and that requires years of training and a good understanding of the forms. Then at a certain point jedi have use the force and trust themselves to assemble said lightsaber. If you want to see a difference in skill with lightsabers i recommend watching all of the clone wars and paying attention to ahsoka tano. You say all anime characters can block laser fire? Tell me, put Kakashi with his skill set in the world of star wars, specifically the clone wars, do you honestly think he could survive better than Obi-Wan?

@@RizzlerTsu Well one of the big problems is that while Chakra is like a motor that runs on fuel, once that fuel runs out then Kakashi has nothing left to go on. While the force is more like a sponge, can be absorbed through everything to refill what he needs at any given time. Add in the ridiculous feats that some of the Jedi under Anakins capabilities and we have a limited supply of energy vs a constant refill of power. Once Kakashi runs out, its him with no Chakra vs a man who can still use his powers to his advantage

The biggest thing about this battle is that, yes, if Obi-Wan could match Anakin Skywalker at his absolute strongest, even if he was not exactly equal, he could still pull off similar feats of force ability. I'd recommend reading the books, watching the Clone Wars, etc. As for the "non-canon" comments, remember, they pull from all sources of media that are applicable, which is why Superman v. Goku went down how it did.

Form 3 is described as making yourself "the eye of the storm" and that it is a fighting style that emphasizes outlasting an opponent. If you look that way Kakashi would have run out of chakra long before Obi Wan would have been tired. And again the force and their training can boost them even further. Yoda himself has crippling arthritis but all the attacks and moves he can do are thanks to using the force to relieve all that pain. It may not be a fair in comparison to most anime 1s (where they often run out to increase dramatic tension) but it is the truth of the laws they work with.

I am a fan of both Naruto and Star Wars so when this was first announced I kept going back and forth with who I thought would win because I didn't know which feats they were going to include or if they were going to include the "Double Sharingan" version of Kakashi and honestly I like how they used canon and legends for Obi-Wan because if they didn't it wouldn't be as fair of a fight since some of Obi-Wan's greatest feats were in legends version of Clone Wars (miniseries not the 2008 cartoon)

Obi wan when equal to anakin as they’d put it in force power, was around enough (though could do the same) to subdue two literal force Gods that were embodiments of the light and dark, and the sharingan which could read movements couldn’t see into the future like the force, essentially one reads the movements of the opponent in the moment whilst the force shows the exact predictions of when and where, and also assists in the movements of a jedi. Often a jedi would just be empty and the force takes over completely, allowing them to avoid many dangers and allow an opening to be presented. Also, obi wan was trained from around the ages (I forget when) of 3, where as Kakashi was trained from around 7. Whilst the achievement of top rank in each respective universe happened at vastly different age groups, obi wan proves that patience and the willingness to learn all the lessons made him perhaps the best defensive based fighter in Star Wars, maybe all of fiction. One thing is for certain, the force is definitely the deciding factor, seeing as it’s limitless and obi wan knows how exactly to use it in this sort of situation.

You have to account that the original series and the prequels are done with in the 80s and the 2000s respectively which have limits to portrayal and development especially since it's live action. The books, games and comics expanded on the Star Wars lore. Then there's the Clone Wars cartoon series before it is replaced by Disney series. Saying that person has to be seen to do such feat is like saying Sonic the Hedgehog doesn't move that fast as he is stated to be able to because of his portrayal in the games doesn't show it as such. Plus if you noticed at the last bout, Obi-Wan crushed Kakashi's sharingan eye (and possibly other organs) before slicing him in half. Kakashi was working on sheer momentum and willpower by then.

Here though, Kakashi has 2 of the problems all anime characters have. 1 he only has the 1 timeline and thus only 1 path of powers or source to compare with. 2 most anime characters have a bad habit of following some predictable patterns. Kakashi at least broke up his pattern and the way he fought more often. But there are still obvious patterns and issues you notice.

Listen man, I respect your opinion of it being a draw or Kakashi winning. But with ALL DUE respect as a Naruto and Star Wars fan, you have to know both characters to see who would legit win. Kakashi lost fair and square against Obi-Wan, that's a fact. Whether you want to accept it is up to you and what I don't like about this video is that you say "biased" as if they ever are (besides the Goku vs Superman battle I agree that was biased despite the fact Superman still would win.)
