Obi-Wan Uses Qui-Gon's Green Saber | Attack Of The Clones Edit.

For this edit, I swapped out Kenobi's blue blade beam for a green hue, as well as whitening the beam core.
In this version, Obi-Wan still uses his old Master's lightsaber to honor him. This also adds some continuity as well as demonstrating that, unlike Anakin, Kenobi is not particularly bothered about customizing/updating his ships/ weapons.
Wielding a green lazer-sword also symbolically suggests Qui-Gon has passed the torch, and indicated Obi-Wan's ascension to Jedi Master.

To clear one thing up: In canon, Obi-Wan kept his master's weapon -- as a souvenir. 😉

Well, when Obi-Wan gets captured on Geonosis, so does his lightsaber. You could then say that Dooku kept it because…well…it’s his old apprentice’s lightsaber. Imagine if Dooku talked more about Qui-Gon while holding his lightsaber when talking with Obi-Wan on Geonosis, that would’ve been amazing.

There is a theory of Qui-gon's lightsaber crystal beign used by Luke in ROTJ. Does that count?

Love this! It's really cool seeing it in real life as we've only read about this in the EU. Thanks to Jedi Quest not giving him a specific lightsaber colour (as far as I can remember) and Outbound Flight confirming that he used a green blade in 27 BBY, we can infer that he continued to use Qui-Gon's for about five years after TPM! Come to think of it, Anakin probably associates Obi-Wan with a green lightsaber more than a blue one! I'd never thought about that until writing this comment 🤔
