PreP is taken before exposure, PeP is after exposure for 28 days only. And for PreP you take it at least 7 days before unprotected sex and you take it daily as long as you're still engaging in unprotected sex with positive or people you don't know their HIV status.

Nice But it's actually PEP- Post Exposure Prophylaxis- Taken after exposure to HIV btwn 72 hrs then goes for 28days. -PrEP- Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis -Taken if one is indulging in behaviours exposing them to HIV. Now for 30 days - as long as they're still perpetuating the risky behaviour. I'm happy that Chira's open about it and living positively in that line. Salute Man!! Big up Obinna .
