As fans, it is so easy making comments about how Obinna was right to tell him the truth. But let me ask you, if you were in a position where you badly needed help (forget about this guy for a moment, he is silly) and you got into contact with someone you thought would help, would you rather they invite you and embarrass you before a multitude, or would you rather they tell you the truth during the very phone call you made to them or in a later private call? He could have told him all this in private, and the guy would have taken the first bus back to Bungoma the next morning. I’m all for people being told the truth, even when it hurts-but how it’s done matters. Don’t do it in a way that leaves someone feeling like their dignity has been stripped away.
