But in anime it happens a lot. This man devoted his heart, his soul, his blade, his intention and protection. The sacrifice he is giving is so much more than shoving someone out of the way and taking a hit. This man allowed Sasuke to take his life to be a hero....so he could find peace... And he lived to make sasuke stronger. He lived to protect the village and honor Shisuis memory. The sacrifice is literally bleeding our his eyes.

I think a lot of people don't get how humble, kind, intelligent and powerful Itachi was, mostly because his style wasn't all show off and fancy like Madara or Obito. But his Susano had the totsuka blade that could seal anybody, and the Yata Mirror that could block anything making him pretty much invincible if he wants to. And those words are not from me, they're from Black Zetsu, the spawn of Kaguya that played with Madara like he was just a little chess pawn, and that's been around for centuries, he pretty much knows what he is talking about. Plus he could use the 2 strongest attack an Uchiha can use: Izanami and Izanagi. Izanami which he used on Kabuto is supposed to be used on "friends", because it was supposed to counter the overused of Izanagi. This proves how Itachi sees people. We can argue that Itachi used it because it was the only way to stop the Edo tensei, but I believe it was also because of his peaceful nature. Itachi never wanted to become someone special or famous. All he wanted was for the good people of the leaf village and his brother to live long and be happy. He could have followed his clan and would have ended up as the strongest (he kinda was already), but he didn't chose the easy way. He could have killed Sasuke multiple times, but he chose to give his life for his brother and others. He could have kept Shisui eye and use it, but he knew he needed it for something greater than just being powerful. He gave it to Naruto (well shoved it is more accurate haha), knowing it would come to use after his death. How smart was that. Just like when he pushed Sasuke to get rid of Orochimaru inside him. Loving and smart Itachi

Fabien Dussere i mean it prob could, rinnegan users aren’t immune to genjutsu, they can just escape it easier. But fr pain was put in genjutsu by jiraya so I mean itachi prob could put a rinnegan user in genjutsu, plus tsukyomi is legit the strongest genjutsu in all of naruto. Itachi has legit killed people with tsukyomi, with just genjutsu. I personally think that it would be able to catch, and keep a rinnegan user in genjutsu; but I definitely get both sides. Regardless there is no denying that he’s big busted lol

Even after he learnt the truth about Itachi he was still a shitty little child about it. Itachi 100% is loved his brother so much and showed it better then any other character in Anime that I know of. But in terms of an actual relationship Ace and Luffy's was much more heartfelt and his death was a lot sadder just because of how close they were. Where as with Itachi it really didn't hit home for me until I found out the truth and that he was a good guy all along, that's when his death really sucked the most!!!

Did you even watch the anime? Probably Sasuke would be dead if not it was Itachi. Yeah but that wasn't the first solution for saving Sasuke but he choose that way in order to save Sasuke from Uchiha's violence, also Sasuke will love his brother in later anime episodes because he too will learn Itachi's truth. Uchiha Itachi you should read Tokyo ghoul, don’t watch the anime it’s a different story and it is shit. Kaneki is a lot alike itachi, in a lot of regards, but he is a lot more unstable lol. Nonetheless Tokyo ghoul is a really amazing manga, and if you like itachi; or the deeper side of naruto, you’ll love Tokyo ghoul(the manga, I’m serious don’t watch the anime 😂)

@@army_x7003 I seriously wanted him to still be alive so bad, I came up with an entire loophole/alternate event that allowed him to be alive. I sorta had to prepare tho so it didn't seem like it was random and outta no where. I took an OC I had made that only had a design, no personality or powers, and spent a LONG time developing, creating, and fleshing out her personality, powers, and backstory. I now have one of the best OCs I've created ever, and I could write an entire fanfic on how she fits into the story "you just never see her canonically" type thing, and it would make sense canonically, but I know ppl don't read OC inserts so it'll just live in my head. Short version on how he's still alive: Her clan's powers allow for her to connect with people, some deeper than others depending on how close they are, and she and Itachi have a soul-bound connection which allowed her to guide his soul back into his body, which her brother had been preserving, and she would seize this opportunity when his soul is ascending when the Edo tensei is broken. He's in a coma-like state for about 4 years and wakes up the day Sarada is born (For no particular reason, I just thought it was cute)

honestly till this day there isnt a single person who has or had it worse than itachi. he was not only gifted to be born an uchiha with both the totsuka and yata, he was more talented than anyone, smarter than anyone and remained calm and collected no matter how bad things got. in the end he gave up everything hes future, for the sake of hes village and brother. hes illnes probably needed care frorom the best like tsunade, but making himself the vilan he had no hope for that knowing hes end was near he made sure sasuke got stronger , protected him and the village and set sasuke up to becoming the hero who killed him and avenged the great uchiha clan. sasuke was supposed to return to konoha not knowing anything and regarded as a hero just like naruto.

Even when we think whole life of Itachi is known to us, there is always something new. The longer you think about his story, his thoughts and pain he had to go through, the more you understand how deep this character is. Naruto's creators did great job. Just... Remembered one moment. When Naruto talks to edo-Itachi and says something like "Just leave it to me. You did more than enough for the village". I just feel like Itachi's soul finally became calm after this.
