Free-4-Me segment was heavily inspired by ‪@niffirgmusic‬'s retake.
"Sonic" was performed by JBendett, and I, Luke, performed the custom Obituary lyrics, sung by "X" AKA "2011x", as well as "You're boring me" and "You just don't quite get it" voicelines.
The custom lyrics were written by JBendett and me, and I based myself very heavily on ‪@JamsDX‬'s "Obituary with lyrics" when writing the new voicelines and the lyrics, the video also gave me the idea to add lyrics into this remix in the first place (At the time of writing, the video has not been published, however, teasers of it have been posted to Twitter).
Here is a transcript of the voicelines and lyrics in case you couldn't hear them (I don't fully know how to mix lyrical vocals so forgive me if some things are hard to understand, and sorry for the weirdly formal writing I just noticed that lol):

With that out of the way, this was a VERY fun one to make, wow! I enjoyed myself very much, mainly because I really like Obituary as it is already, so working on a remix was very nice! I really apreciate everyone who helped and gave me feedback on this! Props to Jon for his very nice VA abilities and Tom for his talent in art (I am way too lazy to make art on my own).
Singing as X was also exTREMELY fun, if you want a quick way to do it, here is a mini-tutorial (Given by Sturm himself on Twitter in fact!):
Try to make yourself either deep, growly or both (Though depending on how you do it, you may become harder to understand at the end of it all), and then pitch yourself down 400 cents (Or 4 notes), and you should be good!
For singing, you should sing the song 4 notes higher than originally intended, if you only change the formant, you may end up higher pitched (In FL specifically, the vowels just before "s" sounds and most consonants is unchanged if you use "Stretch Pro" on the sample, so it's easier to notice your original pitch if you don't pitch everything down including in notes, A good alternative is to simply pitch everything down, no formant shenanigans, but it has the downside of affecting the high end of your sample. "S" sounds will be noticeably harder to discern). But yeah! That's it!

how do you upload songs in high quality? whenever i upload music it sounds like it got slightly bitcrushed and the volume has been decreased by like 6 decibels

@@jaywarudo in the video export settings you have 2 options: Get the video and audio bitrates as high as you can, the audio bitrate is the audio that goes into the video file, and the final bitrate is the video bitrate, which affects the end quality 2nd option is uncompressed video, which makes it take FOREVER to upload, but makes the audio at its highest quality. I recommend the max audio bitrate since the audio difference between them isn't very big

I was waiting for this one and the cookening has been done once again! Only one small thing, at least from my end: 3:35 is my favorite part of regular Obituary and while the lyrics are for sure nice, I think I prefer this part without. BF sounded great combined with your elevated instrumental, so I would've loved to see how this part would've sounded like with just X's chromatic. But that's just my 2 cents. Great remix besides that!

I'm sure someone will do that for you, since public flp But a little bit of context: I have to sing 4 notes up, while also trying to sound deep and autotune completely kills the growliness the vocals naturally have if done excessively, so it sounding better is pretty much out of my capabilities atm, I only did it bc people really need to know they can sound like x and have it sound actually good, and it is super simple too! I'll do it better next time, though, I promise ;)
