Listen from 3:52 till 4:05, sounds familiar? Of course! it's a similar tapping riff that he does in the song Spiritual Healing!

I remember seeing Obituary in Reseda California back when James was playing. the security guy kicked the cord out of his pedal board on accident right before the intro solo on cause of death. He was pissed.

I would be pissed too, that’s pretty much the worst possible time lol

that last riff 2;59 has to be the heaviest breakdowns riff of all death metal., Murphys solos are gold. Trevors tone is one of the best. I saw em in Wrexham around this time and many times since rip Frank.

Apparently they didn't get along very well after touring for a while... James said that he was annoyed at the band for spending the common money on pot. He himself didn't smoke but effectively had to forfeit his share of the profits anyway. The rest of the band thought he was being a party pooper.. They've reconciled since though.
@funeralfiend36187 жыл бұрын
yeah, I caught them on tour in early '93 and they acted like stuckup Rockstars! The only guy that would speak was Frank, and we hung out all night after their set - but the rest of the Band went straight on the Bus? earlier before their time to go on, I was trying to talk w/ trevor and to tell him I had been a fan since the early days, and he just looked at me? It was really funny. so, I was like, fuck these guys. they were all dressed in "sport shorts & button - up" shirts accept Frank? Allen was trying to play James' Solos and made his guitar sound like he was slowing killing a cat, lol!

Even though I've always liked Obituary I saw them in concert back in the mid 90s and I have to say that concert kinda sucked. It was a big disappointment.
