The infamous Object 279 heavy tank is one of the most overpowered tanks in War Thunder. I thought it'd be fun to try and handicap it by only using high explosive shells, though it didn't hamper its performance much.

It’s very ironic that the M48, one of the saddest vehicles in the game, happens to be one of the strongest tanks against HE. Also a M36 Jackson video would be very funny. You literally can give people no fun to anyone in a heavy tank

Since the previous french tank was terrible, i highly suggest for you to play the AMX M4 since its really fun to play obliterate 6.0 and 6.7 tanks with the PCO-50 with autoloader

I recommend that you play the Hungarian Turán II. It has excellent mobility, a dual gearbox, goofy HEAT, and is surprisingly survivable with 5 crew and goofy volumetric armour. And only at BR 2.7

The class 3 can absolutely cheese this tank once you get DM33. Plus the class 3 is a scary vehicle in its own right too, so many times I have shot it and done no damage at all.

I think your tank started glitching when shooting the coax at the helicopter because when that bomb hit it must have caused your tank to start clipping with either the terrain or some other object. Very suboptimal indeed.

You can actually overpressure most tanks by shooting their lower side with any reasonably large HE shell, for example any 150+mm will go through the is2 which has 100mm all around. Same with fv4005 vs maus which normally you cant get more than 2 crew per shot
