This is the first time I have ever seen a Heavy tank go there and the team being so calm about it. Nobody yelling to report you, nothing...

This is one of the very few heavies that can do this at tier 10. The only reason he survived going there/staying there is because he was playing a 279e. In any other tank, he'd either have been too slow to get there, or he'd have been farmed while driving in/while being attacked by the 260 and TVP once he arrived. Those bounces from the TVP would've likely been pens, and other tanks that didn't bother to shoot him because "it's a 279, we're not penning him frontally from a distance lol" would've probably shot at him. TL;DR: it's a very risky move that only rarely yields good results if you're competent and your tank is built for it.

@@cinatiropel I am not saying anything about the result or the tank or anything, I am 100% aware of his skill and how good the tank is and also the tier 8 mm but I was surprised the most about the team. When someone goes on that side with a heavy most of the time they get pinged shot at by their own team and reported, here it didn't happen for whatever reason. I know if i was there there would be 10 players instantly spamming bot 279 go drown...

@@cinatiropel lots of tier x heavies are faster than 279. Its slow as shit with out the appropriate build just like any heavy. Also 279 has weaker upper plate than 90 percent of tier x heavies and was the only thing tvp could hit outside of the turret

@@rickwilson5611 Other heavies either have weaker armor (and can be tracked + penned) or they are fatally slow. Very few heavies have the combination of enough armor + enough speed to get to that position without getting farmed on the way, and the only reason he came out on top against the TVP and 260 is because he was in a 279 (and because he played it well, of course). Other heavies there would've been getting lolpenned by 340 HEAT, with the exception of MAYBE the IS-7.

I'm not 100% sure as well. We are probably gonna disassemble the experimental equipments which they are gonna give us, get components out of them and then upgrade one of the equipments. Afaik you cannot use them togheter, because the main stats of the experimental hardening are the same ones from hardening. But there are some stats from experimental(the added ones lets say) that can be combined with the original equipment. Luckily you can try and see for free w/o mounting them, or go to comparison in garage and there you can add what ever you like :)

You cannot use both regular and experimental equipments. If you mount experimental hardening then you won't be able to mount regular hardening and it's the same for turbo and gun laying drive.

Everybody can get the 279e. You just have to keep on playing. A lot of people who are crying because the tank is op tried the missions and gave up… i am sure. Someone makes it in several months, someone (like me in years - I mean from the Excalibur) but it is not impossible to get it. Not easy, but doable. You just have to focus and think. I managed to get this without any help. A lot of people can use the help of their clanmates and its a step easier.

@@toteomma he means that pen indicator in numbers, thats the number under the aiming circle, its a mod which shows the actual effectivness of the armor you are aiming at. And yes it is in aslain. Same goes for the reticle size mod.

Yeah 430 would benefit from the experimental hardening a lot since it's very flammable. The others should stay as rammer and stabilizer in my opinion. 430 is a weird tank, it is one of the most armored tier 9 meds and also it has the best camo among them. I think best way to play it is like a heavy in close combat with the setup I talked above.

Only if fighting against reaaaaaly bad players is strong + here i see tier 8.. Years ago 252u was overrated, from this time still 279e is. Tank is bellow avarage - his only one power is missing downplate - thats all. But still you need luck like here - first heat from 260 - he was above you - extremely luck. Most of the battles that tank is penetrated by everyone without any problems -and in many cases is on permtrack cos his completly no depresion. It says 5.. but it doeasnt even have 5. + after nerf.. its going forward slower.. than IS7 backward
