On the test fires the thing absolutely decimated T-72 insides without even penetrating in(first shot, the crew wasn't familiar with the gun). All of it's insides were thrown out of their spots like radios, loading mechanism, commander sights, etc. So overpenning like this is a lucky thing for the crew

Meanwhile Type 90/10 take ages to do the same thing with single piece ammo (the autoloader refill was once buffed, then quickly removed). It's not the "fire rate".

That’s why you use its top speed to get to a good flank. Open maps is where this thing will stomp. You shouldn’t take this thing out in city maps at all unless you don’t have any other vehicle. I would say, I am primarily a sniper player, I don’t like brawls unless I know I have the advantage, so seeing this tank play into all of my strengths is making me salivate lmao.

It's a T-80BV upper front plate, which has the same layout as T-80U. The T-80B"V" upgrade in game is just a T-80B with ERA, not an actual T-80BV

A well-balanced Soviet MBT I can only see it useful at long-distance sniping. At CQC, a single mistake can get you killed. Single miss and you are screwed,especially having the Abrams/Merkava buffed Reload. Same situation with T-90M. You miss,no going back. It is safe to say people should not overestimate the tank.

If you mean camping as in sitting in one position all game long,at top tier, it's not much going to work. But as in sitting around the corner waiting is more of a stand off who's patience will run out or have someone flank you. Personally, I'll use the 292 like a moving sniper,like in Stalingrad, where sitting too long in one position can get you killed.

Did you forget it has great armor for 10.0? Only two tanks can pen its ufp at its br. It will do absolutely fine in a duel at any range with a half decent player. It may struggle a bit against multiple tanks but those tanks still have to hit relatively smal weakspots

@@masonicrat The difference is the tog is slow as fuck, a large target for air and ground vehicles and once you get the smoke cannon with the additional, non-functional MG blocks on either side, you would have a massive weak spot. The 292 has; A small silhouette, armour that isn't realistic, a cannon with fuck off penetration, better than any tank in the game, and decent mobility (unlike the TOG). ERA with Biased values. And will be put at a BR where everything will die to it and it will be killable only in the common weak spots at the front. (driver hatch, lower glacis) It's fundamentally a better sniping tank than the tanks intended for sniping (The Challenger 2s) because its penetration is far better than the L27 round, the same round that should have 700mm of pen (especially to make up for the piss poor armour)

this thing for what it's worth is a souped up t80b which is a higher BR than this thing, yeah it's not quite as survivable but playing it long range could easily counter that so realistically I would put it at 10.7 any higher and it gets stomped on, any lower and you give it a free pass to camp and bully the enemy team

This thing should be minimum of 11.0 to fit the glass cannon play style. Anything lower and the majority of the tanks at its BR won’t be able to pen it.

I peak, and I'm breached or killed just like anyone else. Russian tanks aren't better cause of their frontal armor. They're weaker cause of their bad gun angles, worse reload, and worse survivability. Russian tanks are easy to play, and attract a large audience because of it. NATO tanks are better to those who know the value of not being hit at all
