On my Form1 IDE, I had a tab for the Class and I was using Build after mods. But when I used other VS I had opened for the Class and I Build from there, it was successful and it worked just fine. I hope I explained that ok. I see you had this problem a month ago, so you probably already have it fixed......JT

I always had trouble with understanding the class and it's implementation. This one clears many of my doubts. Thanks a lot! I have a small doubt, why I cannot refer my.computer in my code? do I need to import any library?

Left() gives BC30451 Left is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to its protection level..error. Can someone help me out please. I am using vb 2017.

I get an error message when I type the SaveDetails() procedure. It says 'Computer is not a member of 'Personnel.My'. Can someone help me out please. I am using visual studio 2019.

When you create your class library project, you have a choice between Class Library (.Net Framework) and Class Library. Make sure you select Class Library (.Net Framework). You can copy and paste code from your old project into this if you need to. :)KD

Had same trouble as the prgmr drealBigMacYT below had, but I worked through it. Left him my solution. Anyway, I may be a ways from using encapsulation, but you never know. Thanks so much..JT
