Finally you are back, man! It is just 2 years since you opened my mind through your videos on Design Patterns in O.O. programming. I was studying for Software Engineering exam at University and i couldn't write a line of code... Now i got the Bachelor's with full marks, and i'm just approaching the advanced version of that course at Master's level!! I just want to thank you, for you have given to me the greatest lesson i've received on this field: it's not important be acquainted with this or that programming language... if you get the abstract and high-level concepts you'll do whatever, and what is further more important you will unlock your own creativity! welcome back, have waited so long :) .... but OOP is a deadman walking, within 10 years it will go away, it is a tool to design a program, but the design and build the program is only 1-5% of the life time of the program and 95-99% of the time you need to change and fix stuff in the program and OOP make patterns in programs that make it hard to change and you need to make big refractories of the program to move around objects, so the FP patterns got problems too but it focus on the whole life time of the program and you don't need as many refractories
