Keith is such a great person and I'm thankful for this channel. Because of it and Keiths amazing ability to read old handwriting I took a course at my university to learn the old German Kurrentschrift and we gathered a team of 5 students to transcribe and maybe publish the minutes of the local government from 1848.

Thanks for allowing me to ask my question Brady, and thank you Keith for answering it! I think there's your new video series idea. I would love to know what the fellows wrote down, and if they did have some polite "beef" or if it's generally scientific stuff. I think that having the library accessible and a living thing for everyone to see is a great way to make knowledge accessible. I'm glad it is that way. A true library

Commenting on 14:52. Knowing that archivists do speak of historical injustices is quite impressive and very much encouraging. For my grandfather, getting access to archival records of his father being shot near Moscow was near impossible, and only a few photographs could be taken back. For a long time, before seeing libraries in Sweden and Denmark i always assumed that libraries are those places in which the visitor is the most unwelcomed (unlike what's mentioned at 3:03) and that the archivists would keep things secret to preserve the glorious victorious past. Hopefully the view of importance of opening up, and importance of looking at inglorious past could one day spread globally.

half the reason I keep watching Objectivity is Keith Moore. The man is a rock star; he's cool as hell, intelligent as anyone that shows up on a Brady Haran video (if maybe not as educated), and has the best hair of them all. His charm and wit just emanates from the screen. He truly is the Wise Surf Guru. You need to add the silhouette of a surfboard to the title screen for Objectivity videos now Brady.
