@@Volta650 Yea I overlooked that card completely. I know there are a bunch of red ritual spells legal in modern (though pyretic ritual and desperate ritual are actually worse) so I completely overlooked that dark ritual wasn’t in modern. It’s not banned or anything. It’s just hasn’t been reprinted in a standard legal set for awhile. A long while apparently. Maybe they can fix that with modern masters 3 😏 and while they’re at it, reprint hymn to Touroch. Then this deck would be pretty close to being modern legal. I wouldn’t say those cards are too much more broken than what’s already in modern, so why not? Unless I’m still missing something it’s basically modern legal right now besides dark ritual, hymn to Tourach, and opposition agent. Perhaps there are some slightly worse cards that do the same thing for a deck like this to be modern legal? I played against 8 rack recently so maybe start with that but then find a happy medium between that and this🤷♂️

@@ThrabenUniversity Yeah I know. I'm thinking that'll be rare and worth the risk. For the amount of turns you're left without gas, or would rather do something without expending resources is far greater than the amount of times you would draw the one copy of this on turn 4 and already have Oblitorator and your only hope is drawing swamp. That's a lot of things that have to line up for it to be really bad. Because if it's not exactly your fourth land drop or you don't have Oblitorator, then it won't really be noticed I think.
