Dude I love that little part you included before the completion. I’ve been attempting the largest jump I’ve gone for so far and I absolutely love the process tbh it’s just it can be hard to know if I’m wasting my time or not you know? But that really helped me out with how I’ve been feeling about it. I refuse to give up. The level is Deadlier Clubstep btw and I’m trying to beat it as my 5th extreme and a jump from xo. I have 31% and a bunch of smaller runs already but everyday I feel it all come together just a little bit more.

@@SpiritofPoison when you start jumping, a key thing to internalize is the fact that it will take a LONG time, which also means the level will go down in position, something to be expected. if you can come to terms with that, theres nothing to be afraid of. its still the same level as when you started it, and its still as hard as it was when you first played it. @ oh man I really don’t care all that much where it is on the list although I’ve heard some say that it might actually get raised at some point. Popoff said it was harder than aod which is absurd and I feel like cannot be true. I’m willing to go the distance though. I’m shooting to have it done within 4-6 months from now maybe sooner but we shall see. I basically never get bored of playing it. GGs though man I forgot to say.

i'm not very fond of the idea of doing such a colossal jump like this, simply because it'd take too much time and i don't think i'd feel that much more skilled at the game afterwards. i can't say from experience obviously. i have done a couple of smaller jumps though, like pg clubstep to supersonic and i'm currently doing acu to bloodbath which is turning out to be incredible. shortly put, making really huge jumps can be really dicey for your mental health regardless of what happens

@thegreatjan what I did is I kinda “glided”. although my hardest was carcano before beating oblivion, i played other levels to make sure i wasnt purely doing oblivion. im not near that consistent level yet, but you know, were getting there. if you know you cant commit to a level for a really long time though, then you’re right, you shouldnt jump

I only just discovered your channel and this video and it's genuinely incredible. Playing a level for 4 years is downright absurd. MASSIVE GG's to you, I can't even imagine doing something like this myself. I've always wanted to beat levels like Tartarus, but I know deep down that it probably won't happen (my hardest is an insane demon). Though, I have 16k attempts in Tartarus so far with runs of 64-78 and 80-100 x2, so perhaps it could be done. GG, goated player.

I would say, you think its easier than The Golden and Trueffet because it's a jump, and like every jump (from my experience ; I "jumped" from Napalm to Night Rider if we can call that a jump), you spend so much time building a muscle memory and learning every single click that at the end of the day you simply find the level easier than it really is. Dude, you have no idea what an inspiration you are. I've bren trying to beat an Extreme Demon for probably 2 years now, first startung with beginner extremes, then harder and harder overtime, because I wanted people to see that I can do inpressive things. I still haven't beaten an Extreme Demon at this time, but now thanks to your tips, I'm not just going to play garbage semi impossible list levels, but instead a level I like more. I'm just hoping I won't have to look back at this comment and think "damn I just made a fool of myself". If I ever jump to a list demon as my first extreme, just know you were a massive inspiration. I have the same situation with The Golden, I can't stop listening to thunderzone v2 and spend around 100 hours doing so. My current hardest is firewall. I tried beating Acu and Azurite, spend around 20k atts on each and dropped because of mindblock. Then played BB,then BoJ . Right after that I remember my goal , which is the Golden, and spent around 18k atts playing hardest shitty version of it. Right after I tried playing the Golden from startposes and it was surprisingly doable . So I'm stardet grinding it on winter break and spent around 80k atts in 2 weeks. It's gonna be my first extreme demon. And just like you sad in video I'm doing it out of passion,and because of this I'm enjoying every minute playing it.Wish me luck😊, idk.

its always worth jumping if you know you can handle it and you know you love the level. however, whats your current hardest? because zodiac is draining, 50% of the level is not even halfway there for a level that long. the golden is also much, much harder, so you need to be prepared for that too.

I spent a LOT of time on the level that you cant really compare to a practice run? thats besides the point tho, even if I didn’t play the level at all until then, I followed it since its conception and it was immediately my favorite level.

@ considering my best run on oblivion leading up to early 2023 was 86-100, no, i dont have any footage on that. the thing about me was the fact i really wasn’t organized with documentation at all, so the only levels that i beat and still have footage for that was recorded back in 2021 was nine circles, windy landscape, and cataclysm. i beat acu, thanataphobia, azurite by sillow, all in that year as well, just never recorded them. i have genuinely done a shit job at documentation up until that point, so I understand any suspicions. i dont take it personally though, if you have any other questions regarding specifics i could answer. it was a very nuanced situation, i promise you.
