Oblivion (Astor Piazzola), played on duet concertina

A few years ago I played a first basic arrangement of this piece in E minor. Recently while traveling with my concertina I heard a wonderful rendition of this famous tune played on the solo bandoneon. This made me want to give a try to a more elaborate version in the original key of C minor.

Thank you Vincent! I could discover all your wonderful recordings and obviously you don't need a duet concertina to play polyphonic music. Your arrangements and your english concertina sound fantastic. If you have the sheet music for Around Midnight and La Mer I would be interested. Didie

Aah thank you Didie… Kind comments indeed. The English concertina lends itself surprisingly well to jazz ballads… But it’s much harder to add an accompaniment to a melody like this on the English. I’ll respond more fully by email ( I have yours from a previous exchange). Vincent.
