wonderful in all respects. what does it sound like up to standard guitar pitch?

Thanks Bill, I don't think it would be just as good in standard tuning. In this arrangement (as in other works) Roland Dyens uses an open tuning with tonic and dominant on the 6th and 5th string and obtains a perfect bass line in my opinion.

amazing work my friend thank you. Always found the rhythm to sound really awkward but I imagine for a player of his caliber it was an intentional choice. Nonetheless very cool does sound a lot like the video I saw

Amazing, did you consider this piece very hard to learn? Those harmonics looks hard

Quite difficult indeed. Not so much for the harmonics as for some parts in which two melodic lines intricately intertwine with the bass line, each with a different rhythm and dynamics. It's not technically impossible, but very difficult to play with the right emotional intensity (I'm not satisfied with my performance), but this is the real challenge with Roland Dyens' arrangements.
