Just outside of Chorrol is the Crumbling Mine. A bandit dungeon but at the end you can see the foundations of city walls and a crack in it. With some pickaxes on the ground. Perhaps that would play into the quest that was not finished. That the Krin were breaking into the city via this mine and would enter through the inn. Just a thought.

I kept making new characters and going to this quest over and over. Why? Every time that I fought the thugs, and took their stuff, my character was stuck in place... I called it a bug until I realized the top corner description of "you are over encumbeted". What I thought was a glitch was just a game mechanic! Very much racist & nasty, just kidnapping & even murdering the argonians & khajiits, innocent ones even. A misguided thing she is doing, and it'd only be a matter of time before someone bumps her off, for how nasty she & the count are. It's not a matter of if, but who'll do it & when. The interesting thing is that half the cities in Cyrodiil have cultural influences from neighboring regions. Anvil is influenced by the Redguards from Hammerfell. Bruma is influenced by the Nord of Skyrim. Cheydinhal is influenced by the Dunmer of Morrowind. Leyawiin is between Elsweyr and Black Marsh, and influenced by both populations, Khajiit and Argonians. Skingrad has a decent influence of Breton wine culture. So instead of focusing on colovian culture, Alessia should rather celebrate the cultural diversity.

Sure, elves are still fictional, but it’s just a demonstration of your disconnect. Regardless, this fiction isn’t inextricable from reality- it’s widely known that Khajit aesthetics are based on Muslim and ‘middle eastern’ influences, and Argonians are (architecturally and in nomenclature) styled after Native and Meso Americans. I don’t have a problem with the existence of fictional racism, I have a problem of the idea that racism is ever considered ‘justifiable’, fictional or not.
