What makes Oblivion so special is how quaint the world is. You spend most of your time surviving the depths of hell. They did such a good job making these cities feel so normal, like nothing ever happens there. Hell isn't invading right now. Just have a walk through the idyllic cobblestone streets of Cheydinhal. Nothing else is happening right now.

I agree with you, the world in oblivion is special, if I lived in that world I wouldn’t be too worried about the oblivion gates opening up all around either, I’d just be overjoyed that I lived in such a glorious place, then I’d probably go and join the dark brotherhood 🤣☮️

Awesome to see more oblivion content! I implore you to download a few mods to make it even more immersive... One is called "immersive interiors", where you can inside and look out windows... Couple that with a weather mod, and you'll see lightning flashes, great rain sounds, all from inside.

@@relaxingstormwalker it's not too hard. I use mod organizer 2, but Wrye Bash is usually the go-to... I think the name of the other mod is called "storms and sound", and that's the one that adds lightning and rain sounds indoor I think- - which has compatibility with the main weather mods... Just make sure to download all three, and Boss should sort out the load order.. Lemme know if u need help
