Thanks to you screwing around, I’ve made a lot of friends in Rust. Maybe I should start recording this? Maybe new episodes about seeing how fast you can progress by friending with clans. Idk maybe I truly still suck at the game. But I mean I’ve gotten a free Tommy, thousands of rock and stone, a pump action. Just from being friendly…This strategy has worked 1000 times better than me trying to farm or grind 🤣 some people are honestly genuine good people who just want to shoot someone in this game. But I’ve even been revived and then given a jackhammer just by being funny like oblivion

@Oblivion I have a really good idea for a trap base that I have never seen on KZbin before. The way it works is you have a ladder hatch above a computer station(can’t remember if it needs to be away from the wall a little) and when you open that hatch you can’t jump out. The only way to get out is to close the hatch, kys, or use console to disconnect/quit. If I recall correctly you can’t open the escape, chat, inventory, or crafting menus. I only found that you could open the F1 menu. It would hilarious to watch people watch themselves through a camera while you dance on their head or something. And the best part is they can’t do anything about it. If you use this idea could show a screenshot of this comment?

Great work! I built large bases with hallways, and put opposing double armored doors with laser trigger. Raider trips the trigger and both sets of doors open outwards, trapping raider in hallways to fry from opposing flame turrets.

I used to do a 2 man manual trap base. I would hide behind a door and my mate would pretend to farm trees and run back towards the base and die with the door open. Once inside they would be in a fairly big airlock with a large box filled with skulls of which soon theirs would be joining.

Great trap indeed. I did an overpowered one yesterday, joined a server day before wipe, found a raided base, within 2 hours I had a trap base with 3 turrets,3 shotgun traps and a flame turret that open up when someone walks in

i have a small base design, put shotgun traps infront of a window then just put a wooden window shutter. when they open the shutters to get in the base theyll be blasted

I'm sure that being on molded servers such as increased loot like a 2x or 5x makes it easier for you to put out videos because of less time to build your trap etc., but I gotta say man, as much as I love your vids and click on them as soon as the notification comes up, the loot and kills you get from a trap base on a vanilla server is MUCH more entertaining and satisfying. A row of sowing kits on the first victim to the trap on a x5 server, meh. No wonder they have satchels and AK while roaming. No wonder you get raided so quickly on these servers as well, so much easier to get raid mats. Meanwhile, if you got that kind of loot on a Vanilla it would actually be properly impressive. Plus for someone to spend the mats to raid you would cost them a lot more and many wouldn't bother besides a zero. I think if you built your traps on a vanilla, duos or trios max group server, the quality of loot and the satisfaction of your getting the successful traps would be astronomically better.

I get that vanilla would make loot more appealing , but these videos wouldn’t exist on vanilla . By the time you farm up , find a location and hope there’s population the chances of a successful trap is not gonna have a huge influx . Always remember that players care about their gear so it’s not as if they’re entering traps for the fun of it , they genuinely get tricked . If vanilla was better and not so stupidly grindy then it’s always a possibility but these traps can take hours to get set up . But after 6000 hours of Rust , you know how fast vanilla servers and all servers die . So to produce the best content , I play these servers and genuinely have way more fun doing it . Plus the majority of servers I play are low modded unless the trap requires a lot . Just enjoy the experience , it’s all fun here broski ✌️

Do a trap where you leave a t2/t3 bench in the open on your porch or roof. Like build it on a platform facing the road for people to use. Then you can activate a turret or open doors with shotgun traps.
