@@AWZ1309 around a year ago, she is at the bottom in subscribers number among hololive jp. This lead her being distressed and worry about comparison etc. Though I believe it is kinda luxurious worry. I remember it is around 250k - 300k. Objectively if any japan youtuber has that number, it was already quite well.

@@AWZ1309 She was the channel with the lowest sub count in Hololive JP, she was stressed out about it until one day she finally accepted it and decided that it didn't matter anymore. She opened up about how she felt on stream and someone clipped and translated that awesome moment for the English community to see. All the kaigainiki who were moved by Aki's words showered her with love on Twitter, Reddit, and KZbin comments. We made her cry of happiness for like a full day lol. @@AWZ1309 She had to go in for surgery and wouldn't be active for awhile which lead to her falling behind everyone else. Her last word before leaving were "please don't forget about me" and it seemed people did :( since that moment it was an uphill battle as her subs barely moved while others in her generation took off. Ironically this is happening to Sana right now as she's also on leave for medical stuff :( But I'm forever grateful for the video she made that got clipped as it reached many including myself made me a fan. She's really really talented, hard working and entreating but even now her numbers slowly move compared to the others which is mid blowing considering how she Collabs with many others and has love from them including her Ark stuff as Mukirose. Anyways I'm glad to see her here helping these girls get more exposure for their characters and to be a senpai who can explain the struggles you face and how to push through them 🙏 I want all these girls to thrive and reach success because none of this is easy. So please give em all a sub. You'd be surprised just how amazing they can be.

Rather than "interview" per se, it was Ruri-nee having Aki as the guest for their weekly radio show "Kyou mo Shinoba Night" Further info on the radio show: - Held every week on Mondays (though as of this month it will be on Tuesdays) - Previously hosted by both Ruri-nee and Akane-chan. When Akane-chan started to go on hiatus, Ruri-nee announced that she would have the members of VSen rotate as monthly assistants. - Ruri-nee has been doing what she can to invite guests that the VSen members look up to/have said they would like to collab with. Examples include: Nijisanji's Shibuya Hajime and Debi-chan for Peach. Nijisanji's Sister Claire and Noripro's Mirutani Nia for Soyori. hololive's Aki for Maru.

Of course, it's easier for Ruri-nee to invite guests that she's friends with/has collabed with in the past. Some of the VTubers named by the VSen members might be considered white whales (regarding these people, Ruri-nee said "That would be difficult, but I'll see what I can do") Maru wants to collab with Usada Pekora Ciel wants to collab with KSon Minamo wants to collab with Mori Calliope (Minamo is this month's assistant, so let's see if a miracle can happen)
