Sarafanov: Every mise-en-scène, I think, should be vivid and memorable, because I don't spend as much time on stage as Romeo and Juliet, and in that time I need to do a lot. Selyutsky: In this part there's really a lot of free time and you need to fill that time in a way that would be interesting to both the artist and the viewer, so the viewer would be enthralled; and he has to hold the audience's attention even when he's not doing anything, when he's just sitting and drinking wine. Well, I'm pleased, I'm pleased - it's interesting to work with Lenya in general. Sarafanov: Thank you. Selyutsky: We are constantly searching for new nuances, always.

Vaziev: Fairly often we arrange debuts for tours. On this tour we will have a debut for Andrei Merkuriev, our amazing dancer, actor, who will dance Romeo in the ballet Romeo and Juliet. Previously he danced, wonderfully, the part of Mercutio. He also recently received a Golden Mask, and as a present we gave him a new character, a new part, a new role.

Hopeful that you will get a better translation from a Russian speaker but, using Google Translate, I think Evgenia said that she really wanted to dance with Merkuriev and is very happy that it finally happened. Merkuriev talks with Ninel Kurgapkina (1929-2009), who danced and taught at the Kirov. They exchange thanks. Andrey says that it is a pleasure to speak with her and that when he is dancing with her watching, she notices the smallest detail, analyses, and won't then sit still until she has told you what she thinks - "Oh, how bad!" x

Not 100% sure, but I think it's Maya Dumenchenko in the beginning.
